  1. So, you really can tell by the way I use my walk, I'm a woman's man?
  2. Any Anglicized butchering of cities with non-English names. My skin crawls every time I hear someone refer to Amarillo, Texas. And I have no idea how we got "Florence" from "Firenze." Random tangentially-related factoid: Sir Walter Raleigh never actually spelled his name the way the North Carolina city does. He used lots of other spellings, but never R-A-L-E-I-G-H.
  3. Well, I had to wait in line for an hour and a half, so not technically at midnight, but yeah, I got it last night. And as of an hour ago, I finished it. Great book.
  4. Starship--We Built This City (on Rock and Roll!) Okay, more like a light foot tap, but it could be worse.
  5. So you're saying every designer in Europe has developed an inner ear infection?
  6. 1. Barricade was a Saleen, and 2. No, he wasn't there at the end. My guess is his end got edited and it'll be an extra scene in an extended edition that explains why Optimus was so late for the final battle. Hopefully, it'll end with him getting away, because I'd really like to see him in the next movie. In his lines, he definitely established himself as a bad cop sort of character. Sixty8, that chop is awesome. Hasbro really should release a line of Transformers that are based off of classic cars.

    My nominee: La Sagrada Familia.
  8. Here's to you, compadre!
  9. Drewcifer Drewtschland CTS-D(rew) Drewenhaus I think you see where I'm going with this. . . .
  10. Does it include a DDR-style "strut like an idiot" mini-game?
  11. My condolences to you and your wife. No doubt, that must be a tough experience. And I'm glad to know you didn't let some stupid comments keep you away. That's happened to far too many good people on this board.
  12. I think Bob explained once that it was a term for Sicily, due to its triangular shape. But Google tells me that it's the name of the symbol of Sicily as well.
  13. Excessive badging is one of my pet peeves, even outside of the automotive world. I hate that we live in an era of sensory overload in which businesses find it necessary to fill every available blank space with some sort of advertising for their product. And for me, even if the badge itself looks good, the car as a whole will probably look better without it.

From henceforth, you shall be known as Windsor Tie Dude.
  15. Maybe I hold back, maybe I don't.

So I misread the initial post, and when I read this, an image of BV's millennia with a window unit attached to the passenger side door just popped into my head.
  17. As a fellow migrant from a Mustang forum, I agree wholeheartedly with this statement.
  18. Yeesh. That's just masochism.
  19. I really hate when important issues like the environment get reduced to political rhetoric. Then people just do what the talking heads tell them to do instead of actually thinking and learning for themselves.

    A tree grows in Brookville?
  21. But what if the owners got their dog these to protect his self-esteem?
  22. Since the ethical debate seems to be covered, I gotta ask, logistically, how the hell do they plan on doing this?
  23. I'm sinister, a true devil's child.
