  1. Yes, please do this, GM. I'd gladly pay for an Astra XR 3-door with a diesel and a manual.
  2. Happy birthday, sir!
  3. Wow, same boat, Sixty8. I got 2 mine out yesterday at ~8:45 AM. My jaw's more stiff than sore right now, though one side doesn't want to really stop bleeding, which worries me. I had my first "meal" of applesauce this morning, which is the first thing I've eaten since 8 PM on Wednesday night. I hear ya about the solid food...I'm relegated to applesauce, yogurt, and jello until I go back for my post-op on Wednesday. Can't drive until then, either, since Vicadin makes me sleepy, and the other meds make me hurl.

  6. I like the X3's exterior better, but I'm willing to bet that this will have a nicer (less depressingly bland) interior.
  7. I don't find the interior to be bad. That said, I am disappointed that the SLS's interior didn't get used. It looks much more like something that belongs in the company's flagship sedan. Otherwise, it's a nice refresh. I like the new grille.
  8. Meh...not terrible, but nothing I's spend my money on. It could work with some revisions to the grille, IMO.
  9. Disappointment--the one word I'd sum the Lucerne Super up with. From the ugly grille to the putrid wood, I am not impressed at all. And a slight bump in HP that comes at the expense of torque? I think I'll pass.
  10. That 2-tone really needs to go...it dilutes the vehicle, IMO. While I like White Diamond (the only color the 2-tone's not on), I want a solid red color. I definitely would upgrade to the 19" 7-spoke rims, too...the CXL's standard rims look cheap. My CXL AWD would set me back $44,915. Seems reasonable, since I was liberal with the options.
  11. If it weren't for my grades entering a state of free-fall this quarter and the prospect of getting my provisional license, I'd be in the same boat. Being bored is just something I've grown accustomed to over the years, mainly because I've been bound to staying at my house for one reason or another (last year was the first year I've been out of the house over the summer on a regular basis, I got a job at my parents' company). I'll probably need to stay home this summer to babysit my 6-year old cousin who's living with us now, but with some of my friends getting cars, I think I'll be going out a little bit, too. Don't give up, though...something will come along to get you out of your rut, I've learned that over the years, too.

  13. Well, IMO, that wouldn't be too hard to do. With the exception of the 3-Series and X5, they all have a cold aura to them. A small RWD Pontiac Alpha with an HF V6 and 6-speed manual sounds awesome, I'd totally buy one if Alpha gets greenlighted.

  15. What gets me more is how much alcohol did it take for him not to feel that?
  16. I saw a new silver Amanti on Sunday and forgot all about it until I saw the thread in the Other Guys section about car depreciation. The rear is...unflattering, to say the least. Also saw another Sierra, an SLE crew cab in stealth grey. Looked good.
  17. The 2-tone needs to be thrown out...other than that, it's very nice.
  18. Happy birthday guys!
  19. The design of the tails is a little questionable, but other than that, I like it.
  20. Had to look to Olds for a mutilated U-body. It's eerie how the passenger-side front door's relatively unharmed Edit: Found a Sonoma.
