More 2008 Cadillac CTS Pics
Is there any color the new CTS doesn't look good in? Looking at the front, though, makes me want to kill the person who mandated front-mounted license plates in Maryland...

Chrysler Imperial one step closer to production
If Chrysler really wants a status car, they simply need to make this: Much more classy, and probably not as big of a perception hurdle to jump as the Imperial would be.

Pentastar's BACK!
Everything that I've read points to a uniquely-styled Impala, one that is only similar to the G8/Commodore/Lumina in its underpinnings. I have a feeling that if the next Impala is simply another re-grilled Commodore, we would've seen it by now, maybe even before the G8. But back to the Pentastar, I remember it along with the obscenely annoying door ajar buzzer from our '87 Ram Van...somewhat fond memories. It never left us stranded until it turned 15 in 2002, and it's still running as a cargo van at my parents' construction company.

Pentastar's BACK!
The thing with the VE's, though, is that there will be no market where the Lumina, G8, and Commodore will be sold side-by-side.

New Dodge crossover
The profile shot reminds me of the old Vue.

Jerry Falwell is dead
No sympathy here...the hatred the man spewed was disgusting.

Chevy grows some....
Well, I'm already sold after seeing that. IMO, the Malibu readily demolishes the Camry in terms of exterior styling, and has a more attractive, inviting passenger cabin. The ad campaign is just what Chevy needs...demonstrating this level of confidence in a vehicle can only help.

OK sons and daughters...
We spent the greater part of the day in an Italian restaurant in Gaithersburg (another rich suburb of DC in Montgomery County) with my parents and their conservative Italian friends. It was somewhat boring, they talked about global warming and the like (the husband thinks it's complete BS and wants to go buy an H2 to flaunt his belief). I was the nanny for their kids and my little cousin, they seem to get along well (meaning they were misbehaiving together). I mainly studied the waiters and the other Italian guys that walked by our table. Mom seemed to have a nice day--not having to do laundry, eating Italian food, not having to cook, and watching her Sopranos usually puts her in a good mood.

SPY SHOTS! 2008 Honda Accord sedan
I actually think it looks good. I still have a feeling that I will like the '08 Malibu better (the overhangs on this one pretty sizeable), but I could understand if people bought this Accord for looks instead of going by its reputation alone.

OKLAHOMA
Hmm...do you plan on visiting someone in southern Delaware or on the Eastern Shore of Maryland? If not, I'd say follow I-95 south from Wilmington through Baltimore and DC. Not only would it put you right past my place, it would save you ~150 miles worth of gas money.

Let me just save you the "heartbreak"
Meh...something tells me that a B-pillar will not have a huge impact on the looks of the car. I can think of worse insults to the Camaro, like being put on Delta or Epsilon and being powered by a 4-cylinder.

Stupidest exam questions
I remember the first question on my government HSA (High School Assessment, a state-mandated test administered as part of No Child Left Behind) from last year. 1. What is the role of a jury in a criminal trial? a--To inform the public, via the media, on the proceedings of the trial b--To make sure that the judge overseeing the trial remains impartial c--To reach a verdict as to the guilt or innocence of the accused, based on the facts presented during the trial d--To grade the attorneys' performance It is common knowledge that the HSAs are complete jokes, written by people who are barely proficient in spelling and basic grammar, let alone the subject you're being tested in.

April Fool's CAR SPOTTING
Cream-colored 1960 Buick Invicta 2-door HT, parked next to a silver Camry LE. Oh, and a brownish Pinto. Sounded awful.
