I'm with Fly. The way I see it, 50% of an engine's performance is its sound. A nice growl is better than a quiet whirr anyday, at any time.

Well, I've seen worse. Once you get past the odd front end, it doesn't look to be all that bad. But I definitely like the Lambdas better.

It's not my favorite Volkswagen ever, but I wouldn't mind seeing a few on the road and I really like the green.

For a while, I went into town to get my haircut at a barber shop. Usually they did very nice work, but I would rarely have the same person. So now I let my cousin (a hairstylist) do my haircuts for me-and the only payment she wants is maybe a babysitting job for her kids every once in a while.

I saw a silver Sky drive up my street just now. This morning my bus cut off a Viper RT/10 roadster in black of a circa 1992 vintage. He revved his engine in protest-it sounded awesome.

Cool-another great T900. I really hope GM gives these body-colored door-handles and either puts new wheels on them or gives us another choice-these are rather ugly.

NH sounds cool. I have to wait until November 29 to apply for my provisional licsense, but I still need to take driver's ed (classes are like $315-WTF?? I can't afford that!) and I can apply for my full licsense at 17 and X months (can't remember off-hand). But I can't drive with anyone until I turn 18, which defeats any hopes of carpooling and saving some gas.

I'm sorry to hear that a_r, 'cause you've definitely got some talent in you (more than I think I could ever hope for). When exactly can you apply for your (I assume) learner's permit? Down here in Maryland it's 15 and 9 months. And yeah, the way you describe your cousin makes him sound like 99% of the drivers (more correctly, morons) on the roads here.

Cool-it's like a tank with leather seats. Though I've always figured if you are so worried about bullets flying into your car, maybe you should just stay home.
