Well I really spent a lot more than i have in the past I made ridiculous amounts of money last year, Well into the last tax bracket. I bought lots of toys but im starting to enjoy life rather than hating it. If I die tomorrow I could care less now. By next summer I will have my pilots license and will start flying around the country with my wife. Although something that has come up again will drag me out of retirement and back to DC for a short time I hope. As long as the Govt. doesn't fail i should be good for life. Lets say I have all my money in bonds...

um that's not really impressive for the price the i7 sells for 230 all day at places you can get 6 gigs for $100 bucks too, I will bet you that the intel destroys the amd am3 pII's in everything even virtualization now.

Yeah its Awesome up there. Cant wait to retire up there and not worry about a damn thing. Yeah It was the cheapest on the lot because it was white. there was crazy destination fees though. Also has a block heater!!!!! But I will look into those gell batteries. As far as the Car I was very surprised, comfortable and a little sporty but that radio display is hideous... but small cars always have that appliance feel to them.

I was in Alaska the past weekend checking on some things and bought a car because I'm tired of renting plus i will have it available once i commit to live there. Base 08 Astra white no options just auto trans and sunroof. It was about 19000 after everything. Right now its sitting in a storage garage. And will be there for like 2 months at least. I'm hoping it will last a while and be there when i need it.

Thats a fair assessment. Was it reckless: yes However, I came out of the entrance ramp to a 4 lanes of openness as far as i could see so i got on it till i saw a cop around a bend in the ditch. I never do this on the norm i drive 98 LeSabre and 90 caprice normally not safe vehicles to do it in. I found this rare time to jump on it. As far as im concerned you can call me an asshole but at the end of the day who really wins. Right now the Vette is safe in the garage. I have to pay $250 for an impeding traffic and go to class. Towing impound fees were about $230. Remember its not what you know its who you know. I will see if I can get a copy of the report.
