  2. an380 -"GM (who owns holden) is an american company and many holdens were made in america and shipped to australia so get your facts right and shut the hell up." umm he's kidding right? i mean... he cant be serious right? he must be that guy from streetfire.net a while back that argued with everyone that the 04-06 GTO's were made in california. humble pie... ooooorder UP!
  3. yeah, dad looked long and hard at that 88 monte carlo. 8850 for a 23K mile 2 owner car? i mena it sells itself. hes in the market for a 68 396 chevelle though cause he had one in high school. we had an 86 hard top monte and it wasnt enough for him. i tried to tell him, HP is just a head and cam swap away hehe.
  4. Make sure you get somethin like a hurst competition plus shifter, moving a shifter a foot in each direction looks cool, but it cost time
  5. that gold mist is nice, i like those 17"s too kinda looks like the old pontiac ralleys
  6. i finally have the pictures from the auto fair at lowes motor speedway onto my computer, after a defunct card reader i had to get an adapter and here they are for your viewing pleasure grouped according to the makes and interests. i put them at photo bucket just cause there are around 250 or so pictures. Lots of chevelles and camaros of course, suprisingly the mopars werent out in force like they usually are. ENJOY Buicks, ponchos, Olds, OH MY! bowtie buffet Dearborns best, some Professional Grade stuff, penta star magic vettes, bel airs, others things of interest
  7. dont they only make a limited run of hybrids anyway? i remember a year or 2 back they only produced so many (under 3000) and those were limited to certain areas
  8. 2004r's can handle some serious thrashing... if you build them for that. there are several companies that make beefed up 200's how much though i do not know. http://www.racetrans.com/ http://www.bowtieoverdrives.com/index.shtml http://www.gearstar.net/transmissions/list.php?catid=25 just a few places to peruse

we got a pretty nice spot to go kayaking round here, we go to the broad river in georgi which is part of the chattooga ( not the part that kills people mind you) its about a 6 mile ride and if you aint used to it you have no arms at the end of the day, its great fun though. they have the enclosed ones and one like the new one you have but theres no window in the middle.
  20. since someone has brought up the monte, i would actually like to change my vote to that, saw a really nice 87 monte carlo with 53,000 miles for the princely sum of $8800 it was clean as a whistle, i wish i hadnt been so cash strapped by my impala or i would have taken her home myself, something about a small cowl inducted hood on a monte thats says "yo"
