  1. SLKs are pretty popular back in Hong Kong. I would see market for those.
  2. Eeyore
  3. Here's a whole gallery of my Cavy: http://listingsv2.resonanze.com/allPhotos....pID=193&lng=ENG Nothing special, just a plain, boring Cavalier sedan I don't have any of the cars before it.
  4. I would suppose it's possible, since the Impala has it. Weren't there mentions of a LaCrosse Super earlier?
  5. Not necessarily. LS4 is adapted for FWD and LS2 for RWD. The 2.8L and 3.6L HFs differ in bore dimensions.
  6. The sedan in the third picture's door looks like the door on my G6. Could be just the way the chrome is mounted though.
  7. Is it just too late at night? Why do I see a bit of Mazda grille on the front? Especially in that white color, it reminds me of my friend's Mazda 3.
  8. Floor shifters on small cars, column on large cars and land yachts. On small cars there's just no point of it. You can't fit 3 people in the front anyways. And since I'm driving a midsize now, I'll go with floor.
  9. Well how I see it is that you already have a picture of what an SUV in your mind, so it looks different from your perception, hence awkward. The Enclave is really a vehicle of its own kind and class. Sort of extending the idea of the Rendezvous, it has the space efficency of a Minivan, yet it drives and blends the look of an SUV.
  10. I could be the odd one here, but I don't like those buckles. I was glad they got rid of it in my ma's 95 Lumina. They were just a pain to operate. The top buttoned ones now are better IMO. I don't know, but it also looks very dated. Also, GM's intention for putting the badge on the cars was for other people to see when the cars are just going by, or just sitting on a parking lot. How would people see the logo if it's on the belt buckle? Doesn't serve the purpose well.
  11. Could it be a landslide? Or parked somewhere unstable during a storm?
  12. What I really want to see is GM come up with something like BMW's SMG or Audi's DSG, a performance oriented manumatic, but make it exclusive to Pontiac high performance vehicles, and maybe Cadillacs as well. Heck, if Bimmer can do it, why not GM? GM's transmission division shouldn't be bad. Those guys from Bavaria charge a heck of money for that transmission on the M3 you know... Just if Pontiac can manage to get some vehicle to go straight at the M3 performance-wise, but at a much lower price. (I'm getting unrealistic here)
  13. The concept names are all trademarked too, so I wouldn't be surprised.
  14. Actually a 2.8 Turbo makes production sense. It can be shared with the Saab 9-3 Aero.
  15. Well, it was mentioned in the other thread that G5 is essentially Pursuit coupe. G8 is the rumoured Bonneville/GP replacement.
  16. Speaking of which, Chevrolet didn't get rid of Corvette, but Corvette got rid of Chevrolet, at least in Europe.
  17. I mean, not a concept. I mean an actual production, high performance model. I really don't think the G6 should just top out at GTP, given that there's the Mazdaspeed 6 out there.
  18. Found something interesting. Mazda really seems to want to bring a full lineup. They registered everything from Mazda 1 to Mazda 9.
  19. BTW, Chevelle was renewed in 2003. Could that means that nameplate might be revived?
  20. If you guys want a more precise search, do this: Go to the Trademarks office page, use the trademark search Then do an advanced search for: "General Motors" AND vehicles
  21. OK, I am really bored. Before you guys start beating me up for putting posts everywhere about the same thing, I'll just move all the stuff here for now. I've found other names of interest that has been registered by GM in US: Astra BLC BLS BRX BLW (dead) G5 G8 Serrano (dead) Tigre (dead) Invicta Moab There's more (like 900 in total). Interestingly some of them are being registered recently. And another: Enclave This one isn't registered under GM, but a company called Enclave Corporation, which has the same address as GM. Maybe something there as well?
