Two of the interior pics were obviously pulled straight from the sedan section. You'd think they would cheap out on web development like that. So obvious by the power window switch. And how come power adjustable pedals isn't available on the GTP? I thought it's only unavailable if manual is ordered?

The '05 Grand Am, from what I know, existed just because the G6 coupe was not ready. It stayed coupe and GT only for retail. A stripper model sedan was fleet only.

Well, I envision the DTS to be just a stopgap vehicle. By the time the 6T70 makes it to the market on the masses, it could possibly be gone.

It IS double hinged. It's mentioned on the Pontiac Website, and by the demo guy at NAIAS. There's a video on YouTube of the demo.

Oh BTW, the glovebox is not lockable. I wonder if the convertible will have a different one. I don't know but the last two cars I've got both have non-lockable ones. Don't know what's wrong with GM, even my sis' 92 Cavalier had one with a lock, but not my Cavalier and G6.

The Avalon's competitor is the Impala. That comparison would be fair if you match it with an Impala SS. The G6 should be compared to Altimas, Mazda 6s and Accords. You can't cross price ranges to compare.

I asked them to give the plug back to me. They said they tossed it, and gave me a dirty oil filter instead. That's why I'm so pissed about that dealer.

The Accord isn't cheap. My friend told me any Accord with V6 is well over 35k (Canadian) for a stripper model..

I doubt it. The "G-Code" for Cobalt/Pursuit is G4.

Forgot to mention, the Aura's NOT getting the 3.6L, from what I heard. It's getting the same engine as the G6. But honestly, have you driven it? Just by calling it "old pushrod" and dismissing the engine doesn't sound fair. I have one in my baby and I absolutely love the engine. Torquey and powerful.
