  1. If I were to post this and have people fill in the blanks with people from this board or within GM, what name would fill those blanks on the majority of forms?
  2. ...

A little stubby in the rear but overall very nice. Just about what I was expecting. Should sell quite well, if Caliber is any indication.
  3. Well lets see I currently have a 97 W-body Z34 Monte Carlo, my mother has a 2002 Grand Prix GT sedan, my father had a 1998 Chevy Lumina 3.1, my brother had a 1996 Olds Cutlass supreme. All of which I have driven and all of which I reguard as nice driving cars. There are 3 distinctive versions of the W-body represented here. All of which were produced within a few years of each other. I also know a few things about the W-bodies outside of my experience. But lets take a few examples of other platforms and their replacements that GM has taken the time to replace with newer more competitive platforms: Omega evolved into the V-car in Aus but was totally replaced in the US by Sigma. Which one of those two would you rather own? The N-body, either the P90 Malibu/Cutlass or the Grand Am/Olds Alero, and compare it to Epsilon. Again which would you rather have? See the point isn't that the W-body is just a total peice of crap but it is that GM CAN do better by replacing it if it wanted to.
  4. I expect they will be the exact same in the next generation but for the time being the Aura is a half step between the current Vectra which came out before the Aura and the next Vectra.
  5. The W-body first came out in the late 80s.

Hell no I would NEVER do that. But that being said I was an accident. Mom forgot her diaphram. Guess I turned out OK, first member of the bloodline to get a degree, now working on my DC, and happily married with no kids coming for a few more years.
  7. Opel Vectra Saturn Aura

I think we need to use more solar and wind power generating stations. Heck Ernestor could supply enough power for a few months within a few days. Put that together with systems to split the water and I think we have a win/win situation.

Condoms do break, would you like to meet my neice who is the result of a broken condom?

Yes, that is the movie, I remember George Stark now. They even had it on the psuedonym's gravestone. It was a really good movie, though I don't remember the Toranado in it specifically, I haven't seen that movie in a long time.

I think Honda puts a home H2 generatior with the cars that you either rent/buy. It just uses your electricity to split water into H2 and O2.
  12. Or I can pay $10 a month to get turn by turn from a Sprint or Verizon cell phone, I can even use speakerphone so I dont have to hold the phone, that is $120 a year for those counting. You can also pay $1.25 a day for turn by turn with Verizon if you just need it for a day or two, like when you are on vacation. People spend that much on embedded systems because it offers more than just turn by turn directions. Typically a system in the $2k range will also offer DVD for the rear passengers and hookups for gaming systems at the same time. Not the cost will be there it is just included in the price of each vehicle. Those who don't want it are still paying for it and they are also paying the weight penalty.

I sometimes think I could have part of my 'twin' in me. I was predicted to be twins until the 3rd month when my mother got the flu real bad and went on bedrest. I have a pretty distinctive birthmark, 3rd nipple, that theoretically could be part of the 2nd embryo, more than likely it is just repetitive gene expression. BTW another movie that had a partial twin in a person a writer, had an eye on the top of his head that opened up and had to be removed from his head! Pretty weird to see. A bunch of birds come along at the end of the movie and rip the bad twin apart and take him away. Good film but I can't think of the name.

DNA test could be done now with no problem. She goes to a clinic and they take the sample and then you send your sample to the same place. A month or so later and you can be cleared or start preparing to be a daddy. Tell her you will pay for it, shouldn't be more than $400, and have her find a place to do the test. Best of luck.

A DNA test can be performed in utero. But the baby needs to be at least a few months old. A small sample of amniotic fluid is taken and there are skin cells that have fallen off the fetus while in the womb in the fluid. The DNA in there is compared to the mother's and the father's. They compare it to the mother's to be sure it isn't just her cells in the sample. When did the conception possibly occur? And when did you get the call?

Buick should have the Minivan. GMC should be trucks, crossovers, and SUVs. If this is a traditional minivan it should move to the tri-shields.
  17. What are the odds that the Yukon with the bigger grill is actually a diesel test truck?
  18. 91z4me replied to Flybrian's topic in Buick
Alright tough guy I got one thing wrong but my assessment of the current and future status of Buick is pretty spot on. If you can find a flaw in it in a provable and logical manner then do so and stop nitpicking stuff that happened about 18 years before I was born!Best to say your peice and let others know where they stand with you rather than sitting back and being a punk making backhanded comments.
  19. I am thinking they will do a low volume Commedore sedan and possibly, if they have the extra volume, later a WM based Buick Statesman.
  20. Yes and the Ford Lightning before that and then all the way back to 1992 for the Syclone. And then all the way back to the 70s for the Dodge 'Lil Red Express.'
  21. HSV Maloo. Just got it what 2-3 weeks ago?
  22. Or a Walmart!
  23. Who said they ever would be? Holden has a different build process than GMNA does, that is the main reason that the original Zeta plan did not go through, it would have cost mucho money to take a GMNA factory and modify the line and build procedures to work with the GM Holden procedures. That isn't what Hudson was saying. He was saying that the Commedore, even with a Pontiac nose, is pretty generic and uses a lot of the same styling characteristics as the models that he mentioned.
  24. 91z4me replied to Flybrian's topic in Buick
I thought the Riv came out before then, along with the Toranado. But FWD is definately associated with mainstream America and with Buick so at least 1 model needs to remain FWD.
