Chrysler Has No Firepower
This conflicts with a number of reports saying the production Firepower-like vehicle was coming quite quickly. Especially give that it is just a cheaper version of the Viper and would make the Viper more profitable. I don't know how they can't put together a business case for it.

Headliner+ballpoint pen
Nail polish remover then blot with clean dry towel. Gets out pen every time, though it might take a few applications to completely remove it. Be sure to blot not wipe, it will smear if you wipe it.

Ever run into your old car you got rid of?
Ok, I swear this is a true story but it is kinda hard to believe. I had a 1984 S-10 Tahoe, 2wd LWB, Red with the white stripe and high back bucket seats with a black steel rear bumper, not a common combination. I purchased the truck in Owensboro, KY and it was registered in Owensboro at my parents house eventhough I lived in Louisville, KY. I traded it in on my black 91 Z28 at a small 'dealership'. About a year and a half after I trade in the truck my mother gets a call from a local police station, apparently my old truck was never taken out of my name! The police said 2 hispanic men rear ended another car at a stop light and got out and ran from the scene on foot. The police wanted my insurance information to give to the other driver since the truck was still registered IN MY NAME! My mother calls me asking if I traded the truck in to which I say of course. I get the Officers number and call them. Then I call the 'dealership' who immediately cops attitude with me saying the truck was stolen off the lot just a few days after I traded it in. I ask if they filed a police report, "No we didn't think about it." I ripped into the guy saying if someone stole something worth over a $1000 from them they would surely report it to the police and their insurance, to which the guy responds we don't insure any of the vehicles on the lot! Now I know the guy was a crook. It tured out that the guy didn't even own the lot! A lady hired him to run the lot when her husband died. He didn't register any of the cars he sold! He just gave people the title which had the previous owners information, I knew this because when he sold me my Camaro the Camaro was his nephew's who worked at the lot and it didn't have the lots name on the title and there was no paperwork. Cliff's Notes: Basically traded a truck in on a car and over a year later the truck was involved in an accident and police came after me because the 'lot' never registered the vehicle and when it was stolen it was never reported. Learned to take the title of my car to the county clerks office every time I sell one. Take no chances!

Inside Info: Acadia Denali
I think it is just the mounting points for accesories and the shape and baffles of the oil pan are the only major changes. Everything else should be about the same, at least that is all I can think of between the LS4 and the RWD DOD 5.3 in the Trailblazers.

Spring Hill - Not dead yet
I think it would be Theta based rather than Lambda. A Lambda based truck would be close in size to the GMT900s. GM doesn't need 2 vehicles for 1 market. That being said the GMT355s aren't setting the sales charts on fire, why not try out a Theta based crossover/trucklet with better on road manners and better space utility?

If I recall the story correctly GM was having problems with NVH or maybe with the cranks.

Lutz Responds to GM Minivan Debacle
My take is that GM is not really going to go without a Minivan type vehicle but they aren't going to call them minivans. Just like GM tried to do with the CSVs they are trying to separate the vehicle from the soccer mom image. I fully expect the Lambda vans to have all the features associated with a traditional minivan but it will likely be that GM is trying to create a new niche for themselves.

Inside Info: Acadia Denali
I do believe that the new UV8 is a redesigned N* maybe with DI and/or more displacement.

'08 CTS - What about under the hood?
So the 2.8 may get DI and be around 240, correct? Also griff, do you know if GM is going to throw DI on the 2.8T that SAAB is using in the 9-3?

'08 CTS - What about under the hood?
NG CTS is 2008 model. V series should be 09 model.

Santa spotted in a 3500HD!
Get up close and personal with one and you will love it. A patient at the office I used to work at had one, lets just say he is in the pizza business and goes by Papa. That car is FREAKIN' sweet.I saw another the other day, having since moved. Still only seen 2 total.

'08 CTS - What about under the hood?
The XV12 was a DOD, DI, DOHC 750 hp 7.5L V12. Make a V8 version of that and call that the Ultra and Caddy jumps WAY up on the world charts.

Honda Accord Coupe Concept
Fly you don't like the G35 Coupe?! I thought that would be right up your alley, I know it is up mine. Also the BMW 6 series looks pretty darn sweet. And don't get me started on Porches, especially the Cayman!

'08 CTS - What about under the hood?
People who have seen the next V said it will be supercharged, but will it be a 6.2 LS series V8 or an Ultra I have not seen that confirmed.
