GM Debuts @ LA Auto Show
This was on the LA Auto Show website: Not really exciting, but good news, I guess. A much need improvement for GM's entry level car. It needs all the help it can get to combat the Fit. Will this be the first application of the new compact 6-speed developed by Daewoo? That would be exciting.

Updated SEMA: GM Debuts Vehicle Directory
So, 23 so far. I'm surprised to not see a Malibu concept on the list yet, or more than 1 Saturn on the list. But then again, they do have 5 more to debut, so I guess some of those could be them.

2008 VUE Green Line gets 25mpg city/32mpg hwy
Decent? Decent for a hybrid or decent for a BAS hybrid? You can't forget that the BAS pretty much just a start/stop system. 23% on the hwy and 31% in the city from that system crazy. Using the 2008 EPA rating system makes it that much more impressive.

2008 VUE Green Line gets 25mpg city/32mpg hwy
They are already saying that at Saturn.com. I'm a little confused, how can the Vue GL have better mpg than the Aura GL in the city? How can the BAS hybrid system provide a larger percentage increase in city and hwy mileage in the Vue? The Vue weighs several hundred pounds more than the Aura? Is it the second gen BAS? 2008 Vue Green Line

Volt may be ready for testing next spring
GM is in trouble. Using A123 Systems is the biggest mistake they have made and COULD be the final straw that brings GM down. The video in the link provided proves that GM's choice in battery companies was a bad one. This company is going to kill people if they build the battery and electric components for the Volt. I just hope it's not to late for them to change companies. Anyways look at the video and it will explain everything. A123 Systems at Wired NextFest

Yukon Hybrid MPG estimates on GMC.com
A Lambda hybrid has me thinking. Will they mate it to the 3.6 or would they use the V8 that they will be getting in the near future? Will that V8 have AFM? What engine is that V8? Maybe I should just wait instead of throwing out a bunch of questions.

FIRST GLIMPSE: 2010 Buick LaCrosse Interior
Very nice TED. Thanks for bringing it all together for us. Regarding the steering wheel and not being about hold an air bag, how could it not? It's not that small and not as horizontal as the picture depicts. The center sections looks to be about the same size as the corporate 3-spoke. It will house an air bag.

Caliber SRT4
So KILLING the HHR SS has nothing to do with performance, but being accepted by the media and tuners? I guess that means the Mustang KILLED the Camaro even when the Camaro was a better performer. As I said before, we could go on and on about looks. It's in the eye of the beholder.

Caliber SRT4
We're smoking? Will KILL the HHR SS? Looks better? Add ons not tacked on? I was looking for a :AH-HA_wink: or or or even a J/K at the end of your post. How is this going to KILL the HHR SS? The numbers released by the makers are almost the same. 0-60:6.2 vs 6.3 Top speed:157 vs over 150 1/4:14.6 vs 14.8 Lateral Acceleration:n/a g vs .86 g Those numbers justify one KILLING the other? Come on. Your better than that. We could go on and on about looks, but I'll say this. The ground effects alone on the HHR are 10x better than the SRT4, at least from the pictures I've seen.

FIRST LOOK: 2008 Chevrolet HHR SS Debut
This car, truck or whatever it is, is badass. "Features such as “no-lift shift” and other driver-selectable performance modes help the HHR SS achieve 0-60 mph performance in 6.3 seconds and cover the quarter-mile in 14.8 seconds at 98.5 mph. The top speed is more than 150 mph, with the manual transmission." That's crazy. When are they going to make some of these changes to the regular HHR? More Info Here: 2008 Chevy HHR SS

Trailblazer and Envoy not quite dead yet
I can't blame them for being a little timid. They probrobly are looking over at Ford and seeing how they refreshed the Explorer with new skin, completely new interior, and more safetly features, but lost their ass on it. Does that mean keep it around and neglect updating it? No, but that's what they are doing. I don't think they have a clue on what they want to do.
