Cheers and Gears Drives: 2010 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ V6 FWD
The Equinox is best-in-class, hands down. I'm loving the interior.

Ford @ NAIAS: 2010 Taurus
sciguy_0504 replied to pow's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Wow. It could possibly be the best Ford I've seen in decades.

Lexus HS250h - World's Dedicated Hybrid
sciguy_0504 replied to Z-06's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)One of the worst automotive ideas ever. Horribly styled. Stupid idea.

Detroit 2009: Lincoln MKT debuts with a big, toothy smile
sciguy_0504 replied to Intrepidation's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)I really like this car...I think it should do well. The rear is lovely.

Spied: 2010 Kia Sorento (XM) undisguised!
Reminds me of the Subie Tribeca.

CNN / Money rips ASTRA
The picture of the Ion interior made me laugh and cover my eyes at the same time.

Edmunds: Pontiac G8 GT vs. Dodge Charger R/T
I can't believe it...the G8 actually looks better in those photos, too.

LUTZ 'CROCK' RESPONSE
Meanwhile, we have people climbing on the tops of commercial jets and chaining themselves to the roof of the British Parliament over this BS called global warming. It's communism for the 21st century...just another way to control people.

2009 Chevrolet Traverse Preview
The interior looks good. I like the fact that the Malibu design was used as an inspiration. The front looks good, too, almost looks Pontiac-ish. However, the rear is horrible, a bastardization of the Enclave. Overall, it's too much of a mish-mash of different Lambdas.

GM @ Chicago 2008: Hummer H3T
Not bad but I'd rather have a true Hummer truck...cough H4 cough.

NY 2008 Preview: Production Pontiac ST pickup to appear
Besides the powertrain, it does nothing for me. The styling is bland, it's just the same as the G8 but with 2 doors and a small bed. I'd rather the money be spent on a true mid-size RWD car for Pontiac. And I wouldn't be comparing it to the Ridgeline. At least that has some utility to it.

Spied - 2010 Cadillac BRX Resembles Provoq Concept
I thought I could see a Chevy grille, too. Hopefully, this is NOT a Caddy.

Toyota @ NAIAS '08 Venza Crossover
sciguy_0504 replied to bowtie_dude's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)What? First, it's a Toyota Venza. Second, both mid-level (this vehicle) and luxury (Lexus RX) crossovers are products many customers have asked for and have received. The RX is the best selling vehicle in the Lexus lineup. Third, I don't think many cars offer anything new nowadays. The only Edge similarity I see is the rear window. Otherwise, the Venza looks sportier and more luxurious, IMO.

Toyota @ NAIAS '08 Venza Crossover
sciguy_0504 replied to bowtie_dude's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)I'm not a fan of the grille but, overall, the styling is nice and upscale, not boring and somewhat stylish. I really like the rear. The interior looks nice but the center console is a bit weird...takes some getting used to, I guess.

Detroit Hyundai Genesis
sciguy_0504 replied to Polish_Kris's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Interior looks amazing, I love that brick color. However, the exterior is bland, especially the front end. The grille reminds me of the Amanti...Hyundai doesn't know how to design a grille for a luxury car.

GM @ NAIAS '08: Cadillac CTS Coupe Concept
sciguy_0504 replied to !!!TED!!!'s post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Not really digging the rear or the overall shape. It just looks kind of weird to me.

Enclave's demand exceeds its supply
Look what happens when you build a great car.

NEW 2009 CTS-V!!!!
Everything but the front looks nice. The bulged hood and front facia disrupt the normal CTS' good looking creases and lines. The front looks squished...like one of those nasty looking squished-faced cats.

2009 Toyota RAV4
Article with photos: http://www.houstoncars.org/2009-toyota-rav4-first-look.php I hope Toyota improves the interior, too. I think the new styling looks much classier than the CR-V.

Hyundai Genesis uncovered
Interior looks pretty nice.

2009 TOYOTA MATRIX FIRST DRIVE
The new Vibe does look better than the new Matrix. However, I think both cars will continue to be good sellers and, from personal experience, rightly so.

Malibu...Oh Malibu, where art Thou?
I haven't seen any on the road but the ads on TV I've seen look pretty good (besides the fact the Malibu shown is CGI) and are fairly convincing. Good advertising from GM...are pigs flying?
