  1. LMFAO! I was watching Jerry Springer the other day. It's always a riot. Is it still filmed? I want to get in the audience.
  2. Some of these stories are great. I usually get the same things in my stocking every year, too. Usually along the lines of personal products (deoderant, shaver) and small candy.
  3. I've seen a couple but way more Chevys and a mix of Saturns and Pontiacs. If GM puts a V8 in a minivan they'd attract A LOT of attention.

Going to that site will, lol.

They're throwing that extra money at the Prius to buy time so companies can develop alternative fuels, etc. If we did what the author said we did (all drive Hummers) we'd be looking at $10 a gallon gas plus a shorter amount of time to find those alternative fuels. Plus, what about all the people who drive Escalades, Hummers, S55s, etc. to make a statement? I'm sure they could help out, too.
  6. As long as GM makes money on them, I'm fine with it.
  7. Desperate Housewives (eva, Eva, EVA), Amazing Race, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Commander in Chief and Fox News Channel are what I primarily watch.

Brew, it's business. Companies, no matter how large or small, are going to and always exploit the misunderstandings people have about products and services available to them. Please spare me. If GM were doing it (and it is with their upcoming hybrids) you wouldn't have a problem. No, I don't have a problem with it. If people fail to educate themselves about the Prius (or any other product/service out there) it's on them. Sure that quote may be true but it shows his lack of understanding about why hybrids and other fuel efficient cars should be on our roads.
  9. ...or sport models with huge engines stuffed under the hood.
  10. Sure 750,000 (estimated) people will be in Times Square but how many people will be watching on TV? I think more people watch ABC than NBC to see the ball drop but what do I know? I'll admit, it's an awesome way to launch the Tahoe the kind of creative marketing GM needs.

I still don't think many people, including hybrid drivers themselves, understand the non-monetary value of hybrids. It not all about saving money on gas. Sure Toyota is going to take advantage of people's misunderstandings about hybrids, it wants to sell cars, make money and get free PR. You would, too. The paragraph that tells me the author doesn't understand: "Just the opposite: In the nature of things, the cheapest oil is consumed first, and Mideast oil is the cheapest. Drive a Hummer if you want to reduce America's reliance on Arab oil. Indeed, if we could all just pull together and drive gasoline prices high enough, we'd be able to satisfy all our fuel needs next door from Canadian oil sands."

  13. From Edmunds:
  14. If men are dressing in white gowns then you'd be surprised about the flower boy-thing.
  15. Good looking people are interesting, though it's a shame the majority of the girls look and act alike. I'm a reality tv kind of person, I guess, overall. I like seeing how other people live their lives, the situations their in, what they do in comparison to what I would have done, etc. I thought it was pretty hot one of the girls on Laguna Beach had a maid who served her food.
  16. LOL. I figured I'd combine both lists. Edit: I didn't even notice you wrote that. I just saw the thread title and I knew what was going on. Plus, you never know. :P

  18. Laguna Beach is a guilty pleasure. I find it to be better than the Real World mainly because the production quality is so much better.
  19. Modern and updated. I guess it'll be a nice evolution for the line.

From what you've seen? Please let on. That is a nice interior. I get a pleasant Bentley vibe from it.
  21. Duals would be the finishing touch.
  22. I've had a Citi credit card for about 3 months now and I'm in the process of switching my checking accounts from Sovereign to Citi because Sovereign is involved with some scandal with being taken over by a Spanish bank. Citi also gives me free checks and ATM reimbursements for those damn fees. The only things that sucks are that there are no Citi branches around here (but brick and motar banks will be a thing of the past in a couple decades, I'm ahead of the curve) and I have to direct deposit my paycheck in order to not be charged a monthly maintenance fee. Still, I'd rather be with a non-scandal ridden, we're being taken over by foreigners bank.
  23. I got plastic ice cream bowls (think little kids stuff) a few years ago from my aunt. I think I was 14-15 at the time. We still laugh about it.
