  1. I am just glad that they still sell Earnhardt stuff. I have been a fan since 1994, the last year Dale won the championship. I picked him for my favorited driver cause he was sponsored by GM and had a great looking car. Not because I knew he was one of the best. It took me until 2005 to really have a new favorite driver, Tony Stewart, and that was only after getting to spend the weekend with him and see that he is a real person and a great race car driver. Don't worry, when Dale Jr. goes to RCR, it will be a split season between Bud and GM Goodwrench.

it looks like a caliber without a hatchback
  3. baby beluga in the deep blue sea, swims so wild and swims so free
  4. the smaller shows are just new model shows, where the big shows have concepts and stuff that the magazines and people are waiting for. Seattle is a lot like the TX state fair and Sacramento and Phoenix.... mostly a no-hassle environment for people to check out the new production models.
  5. Ahh yes, that would be pixel pics.... we use that program on the Jeep tour. Get your picture inside the new wrangler. Gonna be at the Phoenix and the LA auto shows with it.... anybody going to those shows?
  6. Driving one around now for advertising for Jeep and I have to say I am very very impressed with it. It drives very smooth and is quiet on the inside with the new hard top. It also gets quite a few looks too.

operator wont you please connect my call.....
  8. If I were to move into a cold rust belt climate, the SRX with AWD would be at the top of my list of things that I would want to buy
  9. another thing i love is people with 4X4s that get stuck cause both of the wheels on one side are slipping and they dont have a limited slip..... but it has four wheel drive....
  10. um yeah, thats not going to work.... maybe if you use some WD-40, it will loosen off the high center

almost makes you wonder if there are producers to local newcasts... I'm guessing thats a major market too like SF or Detroit, I think they are both ABC 7 stations....
  13. that is the old chassis for sure.... the new one is much wider and more road friendly. I think this isnt a prototype but more of a toy that was built.
  14. Well, I think Motor Trend has gone in the pooper ever since peterson sold it. The real reason why they got rid of Domestic and Foregin car of the year was so that they didn't have to devote a whole cover and main article to domestic cars any more.
  15. Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is a great help in disabling stupidity..... In europe, where most new cars have it, avoidable accidents have decreased greatly. Maybe thats why the US Government has made it a law to make it standard.
  16. The screws on the throttle body plenum was a farce recall I'm sorry. It was really a way for the the mechanics to inspect the gaskets on the intake plenum to see if they were leaking like so many of the 3800s were. It just pisses me off that Davis Pontiac/Buick/GMC tried to screw me out of major money by lieing to me.

I totall see a smaller GTO I was thinking that and then I read your post. Saw one at the Auto Show at the Tx State fair and I think I would rather get the G5 than the cobalt.... which is a first for me in prefrence of the GM small cars.

i thought the silverado came with rear discs ever since 99 when they redesigned it..... hummmm also, when i went thru training from a DCX trainer he told me that so many accidents could be avoided if ESC was standard on all vehicles.... its a MAJOR feature that should trump almost any other saftey feature.

    retarded
  20. So, I'm pro american..... is it bad that i buy mayo that is made by uniliver, a french company? I really have tried Kraft, but it just isnt as good. My family is really good about buying as much american as we can. Whilrpool, Maytag, Hoover, Kenmore, but even the stuff we get now from america is japanized where its built to break so you buy a new one........ it is the JAPANESE that came up with planned obsolencense based on quality....... americans came up with planned obsolencense based on design...... at least thats my opinion.

  22. I golf quite a bit. Unfortunately for me, I was not very coordinated in HS so I was not as good as I am now. With as rarely as I play and I am about a 12 handicap (Shoot around 84) My dad, who was a coach for a long time and very frustrated with my inability in high school says that if I played more I would be real good. My brother, who is in high school, is really good and my sister played on the UCLA team and won a national championship a few years ago. I have all the best stuff too.... Titleist Driver, Orlimar Metalwoods, an awesome Taylor Made Cleek, Ping I2 irons, cleveland and titleist wedges, and a Ping Putter that i got from my sister after she got a Scotty Cameron studio edition that she actually got to watch him buld.

sounds like the silverado had a limited slip in it and the dodge and ford did not..... doesn't matter if its a 4X4 or not, if it doesnt have limited slip and one side is slipping the other side won't get power.

It's funny you say that because truckers do it all the time and I have a friend in SoCal that has mounted some train horns to his fleet of antique buses. His are tuned perfectly, unlike most locomotive horns which get stuck up with soot and other stuff and damn.... they are loud and perfect sounding.
  25. I was talking about this the other day with some product specialists about how crazed we have become over HP and gears in our cars. Back in the 80s, family cars had under 100 horsepower and came with 3 speed autos...... today we are looking at 8 gears and 600 hp in production cars.... how fast do people really need to go 100 feet in bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic?
