Front bench seats = liability for automakers. Hard to protect somebody in the middle. Also, where is my ipod, key fob, cell phone, drink, etc etc supposed to go if there is a seat there?

Avoid cheap tires on the front of a vehicle! Cheap tires that do not displace rain and snow cause hydroplaning much easier than good tires do. This is a major safety issue. Especially if she is keeping the vehicle for a long time.

Camino, I understand your frustration with the mega-banks and all the financial crap that they can put people through, but have you ever considered joining a credit union? They are much different than banks and are usually federally insured. You should really look into one that you qualify for.
