  1. Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Jeep, Lincoln and Mercury. I accept no substitute for American.
  2. I still wouldn't buy a Saab. Try harder.
  3. I'm gonna bet that this is gonna end up being another big, big mistake from the General.
  4. Whoops. Chrysler forgot one of the principle rules of pony cars: It has to be f'ing affordable. Damn, I was really hoping to get one too. Guess I'm looking elsewhere.
  5. News? -Product will help the Big Three -Need to get out of trucks and back into cars -Costs are too high Whaaaaaat?! I've never heard THOSE things before!!!
  6. I'll be there. Detroit is just an hour away. I'm not going to wimp out and bring a bulletproof vest, though.
  7. I wonder what my import-humping former manager thinks about all this. I gave him a neverending stream of crap for driving a RAV-4. The idiot would defend to the death his "domestic=bad, import=good" perception.
  8. NO foreign cars at my table, but I was the odd man out at my Thanksgiving dinner, though. I was the only guy who isn't driving a GM product.
  9. I guess Spring Hill is more of a "used to be" now.
  10. Probably Ford's Dearborn plant. Spring Hill is pretty complete, but I don't think AS complete as Ford's. The factories that did that were generally built before the companies all merged together, but by now most of them are gone...Dodge Main, Buick City, Chevrolet Manufacturing. Personally I think its a better way than to have all the components built all around the country, then shipped to one location. It sounds more efficient.
  11. Defining an enthusiast? Well, I mainly just look at my grandfather, my father and me when I need any definition on the subject. I've inherited my family's fierce streak for auto-enthusiasm.
  12. More great news for General Motors. I wonder if Ford is taking any notes?
  13. Pontiac needs this car. GM is on a roll and its about damn time.
  14. A GM fan who chooses Hyundai over Chevy? I never thought I'd see the day.
  15. So what? Brand design cues apparently equal "looking exactly the same" now?
  16. Not bad. Hell, I might consider buying it if I didn't have to live with the guilt and humiliation of spending money on a Hyundai. Besides, there's no amount of cool associated with Hyundai no matter how their concepts look. Hyundais have more of a "Look at how big a weiner I am!" vibe to 'em. They should quit trying to fool themselves into believing they're something they aren't.
  17. A better job and the love of a good woman.
  18. Ah, but birthed and originally headquartered in Flint. From what I've read, Deleware was only used becaue state law let the company sell more stock than their actual assets were worth. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what the town will do next year.
  19. In Michigan? You bet!
  20. NASCAR is boring. In fact *yawn* even writing about it...is making me...sleepy...*yawn*...
  21. I think that's Greenpeace. PETA is just "non-profit" troublemakers who fund the more violent groups like the Animal Liberation Front.
  22. The MKS isn't bad...its just not something I'd really consider purchasing. The MKR...forget about it...if that got released, I'd only be buying essential things like gas and food and selling my possessions on eBay like crazy just to save up enough for one. Ford's got great ideas, its just a shame they wuss out on them.
