BMW News: BMW M's Boss Dreams Off A M7
It will target the AMG S-Class cars. That what M's are supposed to do, no? I meant what engine would they use? They already have a twin turbo V12 in the 7-series, although that engine is less powerful than the M5 engine, but only by a small margin. And they have the Alpina with 540 hp. M7 would be a better name, but they already have performance 7-series in a sense. Why is there need for a S600 and S65AMG?

As is Arizona. I think Michigan is also, I lived there 3 years in the 90s but had Ohio plates. One.

2013 ATS 2.5 -- Review
The CLA is in an odd spot, priced like an Impala, Avalon, or Azera but not as big, and not as sporty or luxurious perhaps as an Acura, Volvo or Lincoln. Sounds same.

Rumorpile: Next Commodore To Become Front-Wheel Drive
The way I see Holden strategy is that it will be a combination of EPIII and some Alpha car. Let us be honest with only 50,000 odd units per annum, no platform will be sustainable at the current Commodore/Ute price, unless it is Chevroletdes Benz S-Class and charging every dime for an option. Also, it doesn't make sense to have a full operational plant at that volume. GM needed volume through utilizing that platform in US, but it bombed terribly and possibly GM never wanted to give it a full shot. Business stand point, GM is right to get rid of manufacturing facility. It is the Aussie RWD gurus who created the excellent Zeta that need to be retained through a satellite design studio at any cost.

2013 ATS 2.5 -- Review
LOL yes. 220lb. That is still on the high side. That makes the car weight 3,230 lb vs. CLA 3,260. Given the amount of standard techs in this C class, it is hard to believe.

2013 ATS 2.5 -- Review
You know that so called 20% drop is almost 680 lbs. That will make it lighter than the CLA or a Mazda 3. I will believe it when I see it. A car that is bigger than the CLA and an AWD to be lighter than the CLA, that is fictional. Structural components' weight might have reduced by 20%, but then that is 25% of the car weight, so we are looking at a drop of 5% or 170 lbs, that is more palatable.

2013 ATS 2.5 -- Review
The turbo battle is heating up in this segment (2015 C Class coming to the party late). Cadillac would be wise to have a replacement for the 2.5 and 3.6 soon in some turbo form. I agree with two tune modes for the 2.0T or 1.6T as the base engine. Cadillac needs to replace the top dog 3.6 with a turbo motor.

Chevrolet News:Chevrolet SS Marketing Manager Says Higher Performance Versions Are Possible
Yes, I like the understated looks of the car and it does remind me of the old M5. Plain and a precision tool built for purpose. Like Camino said, Chevy missed on this big time. Many near misses to call it a failure and now GM PR justifying the failure to lure customers.

GM News: End Of 'Government Motors', U.S. Treasury Sells Final Shares Of GM
I disagree. Remember when FORD tried to harp on the fact that they never got bailed out and the federal government told them to back off? There are some people who think that GM and Chrysler should have died nearly five years ago. GM is much better off having no financial relationship with Treasury. I agree that any business is better off not having a relationship with the gov, but if you take a bail out, it should be paid back penny for penny, not at a loss. I also do not think FORD is better off for going the route they went. They have many quality problems still and they still have a large amount of debt that will make it much harder down the road. I still see large executive payout and only a token payment onto debt. I have to question FORD long term thinking. GM did not hold a gun to government's head seeking to sell the shares at a loss. So I would leave it out of the picture of paying back penny for penny. Theoretically it paid penny for penny to the government.

Audi News: Audi Decides Q3 Is Too Big, Teases Q1 Crossover
I don't think the prices have been released for US market. It is supposed to debut in 2014 as a 2015 model. I wouldn't be surprised though. GM has truly started the small, luxo crossover market in US. Time to up the game with better power trains as a preemptive strike. The Germans will be bringing some powerful engines and a diesel.
