The Future of Pontiac - Autoweek
I can see where P_C_S is coming from. When they integrated B-P-G, GM took off the scare from the Oldsmobile horror of shelling out cash closing a brand. Solstice and RWD vehicles can definitely be integrated into Buick and with GMC, they will need only two brands under one dealership banner. The advantages are 1. No need to advertise for another brand. 2. Buick can be old man's Lexus (Lucerne, Enclave, and other FWD) and young men's BMW (Alpha, Solstice) and a mix of RWD with Zeta. 3. Some crossovers (Enclave and a smaller crossover on the Theta, which the GMC will get) 4. GMC will take care of the trucks. The fact that no GTO or sister-Camaro for Pontiac on the impeccable Zeta took me off guard. But I think P_C_S point of view definitely makes sense. I am yet to hear Pontiac has a bright future from Lutz. I have heard him say about Buick, Hummer, GMC, Saturn and hell even SAAB now.

Buick and Lexus are tied for reliability
This is a good news! And the import humpers say that the $h!SAN has good quality. Man it is lingering at the bottom. Saab is a bummer when it comes to quality, and the 2004 Saturines were not good either. I think 2004 was a time when GM had some real dogs as their products before their transformation began. Too bad, people will not know till 2009 how bad Toys were last year.

Lutz: SAAB is here to stay
If what you say is true then Saab is more like an Acura/Volvo fighter. Because the day it begins to compete with BMW it becomes redundant. Also even with this status the line between it and Buick and Cadillac are thin. May be GM wants people to perceive Saab as a Buidillac.

Toyota Electric Car May Only Have Half the Range of GM's
You know about the kids who get drowned in their own puke. Well GXT gets drowned in his own numbers. It is pointless to argue with him about his own numbers. The way he sounds like when he mentions the numbers confidently makes one wonder if he has internal GM information, but then the irony is that the numbers do not make sense.

Wrong on so many levels
C5 made to look like a C-1? Wow Priceless!

Lutz: SAAB is here to stay
SAAB is the O-ring formed in GM's toilet. Fixed.

new iMac's today
He can probably get cheap Mac ram from newegg.com. 2 gig 667 MHZ notebook stick is like $129 dollars for a Corsair XMS, which is pretty darn good. Is there any software that can run Mac on Windows PC?

YOUR TOP 10 DORKMOBILES
I think what makes the Metro special for the loser tag is its availability in different body styles (Coupe, Sedan, Hatch and the ubiquitous Convertible). It made every loser/dork have a choice to be even more loser/dorkier. Plus, like in those pictures, people customized the hell out of them. It is like a perfect hybrid of American and Japanese car (albeit with all bad qualities of theirs). Perhaps the one of the only few American cars which can get an accolade of "Ricer". And that says a lot.

GMDAT Chief thinks US may get microcars
+1 Well said. If GM wants to play in this segment, please go fullhearted. Half hearted effort will only make the import humping press say, "We said so!"

I am thinking the same. It is bland with snorkel nose. With eyes bloated from the Mazda3.

Mugen Civic Type-RR (240hp)
Could I have a taller wing so that I can put some charcoal on the trunk cover under the wing and make some nice BBQ "rice" and beans at my party on that wing.

I was thinking more of the C2 Corvettes. They had all the criteria other than the liquid traction control option from my understanding.
