I feel it is unfortunate that they are trying to make a deal with Chery witch has already shown its willingness to forge designs and names. this partnership will allow them to not have to resort to industrial Espionage to steal technology, they can just take it now.

Just looking at how Ferrari has returned to a front engine layout for their best performing mass produced car with the 2007 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano F1. Tell me why GM can not just throw some carbon fiber on most of the super vette and rap the rest in soft touch and leather and call it the $100,000 2009 C7?

We should all know that dealer installed options are manufactures way of giving its dealers ways to make more money for them selves. I doubt there will be many CTSs that leave a dealership without blue tooth. Most dealers will just install it on all their CTSs and charge you for it, from the sound of a few of you here there wont be to many complaints if the dealer makes their easy money this way.

As long as they do not get recalled like all these other Chinese products lately.

Would not the better MPG of all these hybrids help GM meet the new CAFE regulations with out having to stop making 600+bhp CTS-Vs.

The bi turbo benzes have auto boxes with over 700ft/lbs. I do agree with you that the AWD system can not handle that power.

Just in case Lutz was thinking of backing out of putting 600+ bhp in the next CTS-V( maybe with AWD). If you think of it this may be in response to Lutz dissing BMW about their M6.

I think randy said it best when he said he just needed a change from the same old stuff that has been in his yard. You do have to admit that with money no object that the Ridgline is an ok light duty option to an Avalanche plus it is very unique looking so you will stand out in the parking lot. With all those Silverados under his belt we all know randy is a true Chevy lover that will see another top rated Chevy in the drive way one day. P.S. : that resale value thing goes to GM when it comes to trucks and its only a mater of time before GM catches up in cars.
