Car dealer arrested for assaulting customer
There are no words for that car salesman, or that dealer's policy.

Goodbye.... Well, for now
Actually no, but when I read the sob story above I just thought "buh bye", and then my brain went to the SNL skit, then I got the net and found the words to it, changed them around a bit, and voila, a masterpiece.

Ok.... I'm gonna cry....
Isn't there one member here who would love that Toronado and give it a good home?

Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ
RJ, I've had my black 15 months now, and I absolutely love it. If I could change one thing, it would be the mileage, but I still get 17-18 in mixed driving.

Safety and convenience innovations do not replace good common sense and proper driving skills.

A silk purse from a sow's ear
I didn't know that performance cars were going to die. I just thought the way in which performance cars would be powered would change.

<tongue in cheek> Intercom: This concludes the safest part of your journey. Thank you for surfing C&G Airlines. As we indicated at the start of the flight, we at C&G Airlines are bitter about the career paths we have taken, and we do then to take that out on our members. We at C&G Airlines realize that in your online plans you have a choice of many discussion boards, but we'd like to thank you for surfing the GM skinned boards of Cheers & Gears. Steward: Okay, here we go - thanks for flying with us, buh-bye. Buh-bye! Thanks, now. Buh-bye. Stewardess: Buh-bye. Buh-bye. Buh-bye. Steward: Buh-bye. Buh-bye. Hey, you live here in Pittsburgh? Passenger 1: Uh.. no, actually, I - Steward: Buh-bye! Buh-bye. Passenger 2: Uh, excuse me, could you tell me - Stewardess: Buh-bye. I'm sorry, what part didn't you understand - the buh or the bye? Buh-bye. Steward: Buh-bye. Passenger 3: Hi, I'm getting a connecting flight to Denver, and I was wondering if you know the gate? Stewardess: Buh-bye. Passenger 3: Yeah, I'm.. I'm just about.. Stewardess: Buh-bye. Passenger 3: But if you just wait.. Stewardess: Buh-bye. Steward: Buh-bye. Buh-bye. You're very heavy. Passenger 4: [ angry ] What did you say to me?! Steward: [ defensive ] What?! I said "Buh-bye!" I just said "Buh-bye" 40 times in a row, why would I say anything else, it doesn't make sense! Did I just say something without knowing it? No! Go! Buh-bye! Passenger 5: Hi, I was just wondering - Steward: No, no, no - buh-bye! Buh-bye! Passenger 5: Excuse, me.. hello! You have been rude to me.. Steward: Buh-bye! Passenger 5: ..the entire flight - Stewardess: Buh-bye! Passenger 5: No! I wanted a blanket, Steward: Buh-bye! Passenger 5: and you never - Stewardess: Buh-bye! Passenger 5: ..you never brought it to me - Pilot: Buh-bye! Passenger 5: And I will - Pilot: Buh-bye! Passenger 5: I will - Pilot: Buh-bye! Passenger 5: I will - Pilot: Buh-bye! Passenger 5: You are so rude! Pilot: Buh-bye! Passenger 5: I will never fly - Pilot: Buh-bye! Passenger 5: This is ridiculous! Pilot: Buh-bye! Passenger 5: Screw this!! A twist on anger
Our emotions effect our cognitive abilities. When we become angry, we stop trying to see others' opinions and points of view (which everyone has the right to have, if indeed the citizens of this country believe in freedom). If we force our views on others, then we are oppressing someone's truths that they believe, infringing on their freedom. Anger is a natural emotion, and if you let someone or something make you angry, you've given control to those who make you angry. It's not worth it in my opinion. I only get angry with those I love most. Others, they can believe what they want to believe, and do what they want to do. I'll hande it when it effects me effectively and calmy, so I can cognitively work through the best way to solve the problem. In the quote, I can see how anger can be selfish. Thanks for sharing it!

Revival of the wagon
This one looks like the one at the farm, but it does not have the woodgrain. Its been a beast and is still in great shape. Going strong at 150,000 miles. And they are hard miles too.

Probably a forward thinking decision with the impending CAFE. The big V-6s make are more efficient at making the big hp numbers, and with turbo and supercharging, its even better!

Half plus seven
When I was younger, I was only attracted to men who were older than I, or women about the same age. As I've gotten older, some younger guys are catching my attention. I look less at men older than I. They gotta be pretty damn hot to keep my attention. I also don't like being dadiedd like I used to. I prefer to be the "daddy" I guess. Funny how it changes over time.
