WT - what car?
I chose Dodge Neon because they're sooooo crappy. I have yet to see one come in for collision repair that wasn't trashed by the owner.

What "young hip" product isn't?
I chose Scion xB. I see many more boomers driving them than yutes.

Transgenerational Appeal Survey
Well, without much consideration... Honda Element Honda Civic Scion xB VW Beetle VW Golf VW Jetta new-age Impala (surprising. I see a lot of these with rims being driven by younger folk) Monte Carlo I agree with much of what has been posted already.

Older female driver's drive?
I picked Buick Century, both the '82-'96 A body, and the '97-current W. The size is manageable, it's comfortable, virtually maintenance-free, and it has inoffensive looks. I find that old people in general love their A-bodies something fierce.

Got myself a beeyotch
Damn, some people can't do all that. Cute... he's sitting on a chair box. :)

USA Today: Impala glimmers with competence
The Chevrolet has a bigger trunk than everyone except the exceptionally roomy Ford products. This could explain the greater length.

Matchbox Super Kings
I bought that Chevelle for my brother for his birthday. Notice the nice detailing with the drip moldings, windshield reveal, and door handles being painted on the Chevelle... the Plymouth and Olds lack these details. Odd.

Bought a couple new Johnny Lightnings today
I have my first JL here on the computer desk: a silver '73 Pontiac Grand Am with black vinyl top. The only detail that looks off is... the hood has NACA ducts, like the '73 GTO. I didn't think GA's had those. Got mine at Walmart. Was being a nerd, leaving it in the package, but if mustang's brave enough, I am too. I'm taking it out of the package! The JLs are nice because they're factory-stock. Hot Wheels has too many modified versions of my favorites. imo, the best way to please a collector is to leave the models factory stock. I also have three classic VW's in 1:87 scale made by Malibu International: a blue Beetle, cream Karmann-Ghia, and a yellow/white Bus. Nice detailing on all, has anyone seen this brand?

Past Concepts/Design Proposals/Prototypes
O...M...G... check that GM concept once again... the headlights are right off a CTS! Oh, the horror! :o

Poor Bonneville!
Now is that really fair? I'd say your example has more to do with fuel system safety than body construction. Further, if a BOF car is hit above the frame rail (the burned "car" in the photo was clearly hit at frame level, not above), it should theoretically crush pretty much the same as the Bonneville... the welds broke between frame rail and upper body on the Pontiac, the bolts would shear off on a BOF, I'd guess.

Kanye West
Just to clarify: I totally disagree with Mr. West's comment about President Bush. I believe the president is misunderstood on a lot of issues. It's a shame, really.

Sexual Preference
She most likely still has "pregnant face". How does one deal with all of that? Welcome to the board, BatmanVW. Is that West Chester, PA?

Holden Commodore, Ute & Crewman
Wow, after all these years when I look at the Commodore's roof and doors I see CATERA. I can't wait for the new generation to start showing up... because that will mean the US isn't far behind.

LaCrosse named "Most Satisfying Car"
To me, if I squint hard enough, the LaCrosse front end is an evolution of the current LeSabre front end. The Lesabre has quad element headlights, but they're within one lens. LaCrosse just separates the elements into separate lenses. Too bad it came out so mindful of a Taurus/Sable. It's like it was stuck in limbo between old school and new school (Lucerne/Velite) and it was too late to change that part of the car. Still, it's a pleasant piece. One of the British car mags out now has an article on American cars being imported to the UK. A sidebar has a "Bring it/Ban it" theme. Buick is on the "ban" list. The reason? "Everything since the '87 Grand National has been crap." Boy, they don't pull any punches, do they? I had to chuckle at that one.

2008 HUMMER H3
I'd welcome the 3.7L in the Colorado if I replace mine with another. I will not give up any fuel economy though.

Poor Bonneville!
They need to extend these standards to buses, semi trucks, trains, helicopter blades, etc. We must absolve the public of any adult responsibility! <_<

Kanye West
I just got home. I bought it. Excellent so far, got up to track 5, kept repeating track 4... "Now I ain't sayin' she a gold digga, but she ain't messin' wit no broke niggas..." I also bought the new Paul McCartney cd, "Chaos and Creation in the Backyard". I'm about to pop it in my player here in the house.

USA Today: Impala glimmers with competence
Just stopped by our new car lot and took a look at a Glacier Blue Impala LS. I will say it again: this is a very well-turned-out car. I could even see myself in one with rims (tasteful 17") and tinted windows.

Kanye West
Although I haven't heard any other songs off his new cd, it has won excellent reviews from what I've seen. I want to buy it.

Kanye West
Even though George Bush doesn't care about him, I really like his new song and video with Jamie Foxx, "Gold Digger". And the chicks are all hot!
