  1. New Massdrop HD6XX headphones arrived today so I've been putting them through a workout.. Daft Punk Random Access Memories album to finish for the night.
  2. I don't see full size pickup trucks selling much in Europe, they are just too wide, probably a foot wider than full size luxury cars due to the side view mirrors. Have fun with that. The Ranger Raptor should do decently there though.
  3. Genesis has 3 sedans, no CUV's... They really failed to read where the market was going.
  4. They're doing pretty well, they have a limited number of powertrain and platforms and are approaching their 2007 sales high with a lot of momentum. Europe is their big market where they sell 3-4 times as many vehicles.
  5. Not sure it makes sense to change the mission/size of the Caravan when its replacement comes.
  6. Not surprised by the slow evolution of the design given the 5 series refresh that happened a year or so ago that was similar.
  7. That is a beautifully trimmed car for sure. They really need a modern flagship CUV with the same level of luxury.
  8. I prefer the looks of the A5/S5 Sportback after seeing one regularly in our neighbourhood, but these are a little more practical. Anyways nice to have another "sportback" sedan combing available.
  9. Cars should be so reliable now, I'm ok with driving one 15 years, ~180,000 miles+. Probably I've just been lucky with current ride and the next one will need warranty service or something other than the basics in that time. I'd rather build up equity, spend on travel and family, retire by 55 than spend on new vehicles. Maybe my parent's first generation immigrant cheapness made its way to me as I get older. For the life of me we cannot get them to enjoy their $$.
  10. Pretty bad when you rate a car you didn't even drive 5th...
  11. Yuck, I would not cheer any business with an awful place like Saudi Arabia..
  12. IIRC the current Cruze and Malibu generations came out for the 2016 model year, so 2019 would be the fourth year of their runs.
  13. I remember visits to the wrecker in the mid 80's to find replacements for our rusted out 77 Cutlass Supreme coupe doors.. at least one of them was replaced with a Regal door IIRC.
  14. Current Camaro has a convertible like cargo capacity.. like less than 10 cubic feet IIRC. It is really bad. The Mustang is pretty much what I would expect, probably 12-14 cubic feet.
  15. Good looking compact sedan, too bad it is still based on the old Civic platform and has the old dash.
  16. Yes like the Cadillac XT4 and XT5 but with performance options.
  17. These look better in pictures than they do in person IMO.
  18. After driving one due to a lease deal offer I quickly realized it was more of a good RX alternative vs a German competitor IMO.
  19. This class of cars has been in a sales decline for years now, ATS did not sell well and its successor will likely meet the same fate of bargain leases to clear inventory. The segment got more competitive, and buyers moved on the the X3 and the like. I fail to see the point of investing money in the CT4 it unless it will sell decently in China. I would rather see an X3, GLC competitor from Cadillac.
  20. In the Ranier's time, off the top of my head, give me a 2007 4Runner Limited... In the Envision's time, give me almost any other ~45K two row CUV released in the last two years.
  21. My SO likes the CX-9 more than most CUV's because it is stylish and smallish for a 3 row CUV, but then she is 5'0" and we don't have 3 kids.. I wonder how it compares to the 2019 Sorrento V6.
  22. 27mpg combined is pretty impressive for a vehicle that large (the Atlas), though I wonder how the performance and MPG would suffer had it been the AWD model.
  23. I would rather they invested in their other models at this point given this is built in Europe by Opel for GM.
  24. Legacy and Outback are about as far from sport you can get these days.
