  1. Glad she is ok, hope whomever was in the other car is ok too. The Volvo seemed to do a good job protecting her.
  2. If Ontario is a communist state, Alberta is one big rodeo filled with cowboys, non-cowboys stay out! Especially out of nightclubs. http://www.spikedhumor.com/articles/52178/...ry_Alberta.html
  3. Hate the taillamps. Maybe the wheels wouldn't look so boyracer if the car was black.
  4. I for one love the anti-smoking laws and have no problems with the RIDE program (what could possibly be wrong with catching a few drunk drivers/stupid people). Alberta is the most socially and religiously conservative province in Canada so if thats what you are looking for...
  5. I figured the bumper to bumper would have been extended to 4 years/48,000miles. Thats too bad.

I like the exterior quite a bit but the dash design not so much
  7. Somehow I doubt the real thing could be this ugly.
  8. Yeah those armrests, WTF were they thinking? Lets be different in a bad way.
  9. My only disappointment is the 18" wheels are too conservatively styled, guess you'll have to pony up for the redline if you want sporty looking rims. I haven't seen an interior with NAV yet? Is that not an option?
  10. I thought that was the Lucerne.
  11. I agree with your hypothesis. Really is a Century owner going to complain about cupholders, performance or refinement when they bought a car that is so dated in just about all aspects?
  12. Its not amazing but I would rather own it than any other GM FWD sedan.
  13. Hmmm...never would've thought. 177615[/snapback] Sweet!
  14. Too bad every issue is stil weighted equally... from wind noise to a blown tranny.
  15. Are you sure about that? I thought it was a new process, painted steelies shaped like alloys.I'd hate to think how extra unsprung weight 17" steelies add vs. alloys and the negative effect on handling and acceleration.
  16. Yeah I don't like them on the Impala, Cobalt or Aura either.

Very nice, but this is like the g6 concept vs reality, same low slung profile that didn't make production.
  18. I've never seen numbers supporting the Pursuit sold as well as the Cobalt in Canada.. Everything I've ever read suggested it sold well but not nearly as well as the Chevy.http://www.canadiandriver.com/news/060605-2.htm Do you have a link to something suggesting the Pursuit sells better?

These pics give me a lot more confidence in GM's future than I've had in a long time.
  20. I'm usually in Cary, NC a few weeks a year for work, its pretty boring. I'm usually in NYC a week every couple of years for a vacation (actually was there last week), love it.
  21. I hope you have an HDTV signal? Its the only thing that looks good on bigger hd screens.

To me the tire companies all have good tires and tires that are long due for improvement.. Take Goodyear, who make a very good allseason tire with the Triple Tred, but you buy a car with OEM Goodyears on it and they are likely crappy Goodyear Eagle LS or RSA's.
  23. Yeah except for the front end its quite a bit nicer looking than CRV's of the past.
  24. Some day I'm going to have their whole milk vente white hot chocolate for a nice 600 calorie drink.
