Love the wheel/tire fitment to the body, the fenders and the short overhang. Probably what I liked most about the last gen 3er/5er. I guess it may look dated when fully exposed but I like what they're showing right now.

Is that a plasma or LCD? From what I've heard the rule of thumb is <42" LCD, 42"+ Plasma. Though I would stick with Panasonic or Pioneer if I went plasma and wanted something I would be happy with for 5+ years.

Went to the show on Friday, got busier as the day went on but overall not too crowded. Highlight for me was seeing the CTS in person, hopefully I'm going to buy one in a few years to reward myself for finishing off the mortgage.

I wouldn't assume they don't pay taxes on the profits realized by their US Subsidiary. I work for a multinational with its HQ in Canada and I'm certain our US Corp pays US taxes. Companies get audited for this type of stuff to make sure they pay. Otherwise everyone would declare their HQ's offshore and no one would pay taxes.

I think I like the 2008 CTS a lot more than the 3er (which I like too). Unfortunately I am unable to ascertain how good a person is based on what car they drive.
