The Year Is: 1964
Such variety to choose from back then, too bad we don't have that today.

Other stuff I've been eyeballing
I'm all but convinced to make the trip, just have to figure out the logistics. Oh, and that stepside we all seem to love? I talked with the owner and it isn't really what I need, but it would make a great toy! Wood bed, 292 straight six, no AC...

Oddly tempting
2 e-mails, no response - I guess this one is off of the list. It amazes me how many people advertise something on craigslist, and then don't respond to inquiries.

Woodland Green - thanks, Roger. I got all satisfactory answers from the guy in Mass., now to figure out if I can get up there to have a good look and bring the thing home.

I like them all, but we all know where my heart is on this one.

The Year Is: 1959
Not a botanist, a horticulturalist. And, I have to admit, the clues are slim as that spruce has been planted in many different environments and none of the other plants are clear enough for an ID. It could just as easily be an east coast lowland near the sea with all of the scrubby pines. Too green for the southwest though...

The Year Is: 1959
The Imperial pic is obviously scanned from an old photograph (I'd say 1980s or older), and there is a Colorado Blue Spruce in the background. The rest of the plants are scrubby, and the land seems quite open. The front plate is red (Arizona?). Given those clues, I'd hazard a guess at somewhere in the American West at a fairly high altitude, and more north than south...

I'll be sure to keep you posted - I'm on the hunt!

Left a message, we'll see.

Other stuff I've been eyeballing
That one seemed to fit your basic criteria. Curious what you find out. Plus you might be able to sell that lift gate to defray some of the purchase price... True. The lift gate is worth a few bucks, but can also be a handy thing to have. The green is a long-standing fleet color on GM trucks, I can't quite remember what it is called though...

Other stuff I've been eyeballing
In fact, I'm going to call about that first one tomorrow.

Other stuff I've been eyeballing
That first one is perfect, BP! Just what I'm looking for! The other one, like Mothertruck, is too damn long to plow with.

Other stuff I've been eyeballing
I'd really like to find an older 2500 series regular cab 4x4 with a snow plow and low miles for a reasonable price. If I find that, both the Tahoe and the ROPOS go on the block. And yeah, this is certainly true.

Other stuff I've been eyeballing
No, but If I find what I'm really looking for, I can make two new spaces.

And, remember that ex-fire chief Suburban I posted a while back? It's still available too. Might buy something, might not, but I'm looking carefully.

Oddly tempting
Got no response from the seller so far...

Long Roof Racing
But then again, any '69 Chevelle wagon that does 13s is easily worth that price.
-
Oddly tempting
It has spartan appeal. The mileage and price are right. And best of all, it's a manual!

Long Roof Racing
Good point. I'd bet the motor responsible is stashed elsewhere.
