The Quixtar cult
Did you guys hear about how Germany won't let him film at some historic location because he is a scientologist!

The Quixtar cult
I remember when I was just starting College, and pyramid schemes were getting big... a few of my friends actually got into it, though I don't know (didn't bother asking) where it got them. I do remember one of the "head guys" used to drive a yellow Lamborghini with a sticker of the scheme's name on each side of the car (I think it was 2-by-2.net???). Anyway... I thought these things finally died!

Help me pick a new name.
I like that one, but no need for the parenthesis. It's the car you like and your first name, with the hidden meaning of a diesel CTS (and it doesn't necessarily tie you to a diesel if those plans don't happen).

A quick question: Do all of the badges on cars piss you off?
Hell Yeah!!! The SSEi badge on our '92 is still one of my favorites. Especially because the badge was color matched to the car!

My friend is getting an Luxury CUV/SUV... HELP!
If the Enclave is to big (did you show her the Acadia? Maybe that one is just right... hehe), then what about the Edge/whatever-Lincoln-calls-theirs?

Summer Car Spotting!
I ran accross a Cadillac and La Salle car club, and saw a couple Sedan de Villes from the early 60's, an old Eldorado and some other really coold old Cadillacs and a La Salle. Later on in the day I saw a Ron Fellows edition Z06 parked outside a Porsche dealership.

New Silverado Commercial
I like how they gently place the Tundra in the ditch, while the Silverado is jammed in... and of course, how the Silverado makes it out! I hope to see this one, and the other two, all over the TV!

Rice Cakes
I can't remember if it was the LAPD or CHP, but some police organization actually did this. And... they let you race against the cops (they had the usual cruisers and bikes, along with some modded cars)!

Greetings from Europe
Eat the Mussels! Back in the summer of '04 (I think...) we took a day trip from Amsterdam to see Brugge and eat the Mussels...

Enclave Demand Surprises GM
A base Outlook starts around $28,000. What other 8-seater (where anyone can sit comfortably in all rows) starts that cheap? The ontly comfortable 8-seaters that I can think of are the Suburban and the Expedition EL (I've never been inside the new bigger Benz), and those two start at $38k and $35k respectively!

Rice Cakes
Don't worry... I think they (the police) need to prove that they are using stolen parts. So, I would think that most of the muscle car crowd is using legit stuff. I thought the same thing, until I realized that a stolen transmission is probably illegal.

You can see some footage of the cars being crushed here. It's good to see that So Cal police are cleaning up some of the garbage on our roads

SPY SHOTS! Lexus LF-A
The XLR-V is a drop-top... so not all of that extra $30,000 is a waste!

Soon to be proud new owner...
I think the Enclave is moving slow for a few reasons: The dealers haven't built up a good selection (colors, trims, options), so it's tough to go shopping for one when each dealer only has a couple on the lot. Ex: We spent the last couple weeks searching for a Cocoa CXL at about 10 dealerships. Most of them are silver, with a few reds and blues here and there. Of the 3 Cocoa ones we found, 1 was being driven by the dealership owner's wife, 1 had a supposed $5000 mark-up and couldn't be delivered until June 28 because the dealership needed it for some demo on that day, and the third one ended up in our driveway. Regardless of color, they all tend to be well optioned CXL's. Advertising? Not too many on the road for people to see? Maybe because it's coming out at an odd time of the year with respect to new vechilces usually coming out in September?

iPhone
If it runs an operating system like OS X, then it doesn't get viruses.

Ebay
I once had a Kent... white frame, with neon green graphics and neon green tires. I never loved another bike as much as that Kent, and I regret the day (back in the early 90's?) that I sold it at a garage sale.

iPhone
That's what I thought, but an article in the LA Times suggested there might be other carriers. The article also mentioned possible early upgrades and a drop in price. Either way... I'll wait and see.

'07 Tundra Camshafts Snapping
I guess only engineers and those that deal with metals etc. would catch that mistake, and consequently get that joke... And here I was, about to correct his spelling!

iPhone
I don't usually get excited about these kinds of things... but I also really want one! My problem is that I don't want to switch providers, so it gives me a good reason to wait a bit assuming Verizon gets it later on.

GM introduces 4.5l DOHC V8 Turbodiesel
Have they said that it will go into the SUV's? All I've seen is that it will go into the H2 and the GMT 900 Trucks. It would be good if the SUV's get it later on, but I haven't read anything about it.
