The Detroit News on the Aura
The omission of nav in this car is glaring, to say the least. The other two quibbles have no merit, though they could just as easily offer those options.

Buick Grand Camino
When I was 13 or so, I saw a flower car based off a '95 Cirrus. I thought I was seeing things.

Cool find for Metallica fans
Metallica lost my respect with the whole Napster ordeal, but this proves that they deserve no respect in the first place. Overrated band. Lars isn't a great drummer like everyone seems to think.

Sat in an AURA XR
It was plood. I wanted to see the metallic trim, but to no avail.

I plan on test-driving an Aura XE tomorrow
The Aura has a very spacious interior from all outboard positions. The front seatbacks are deeply scalloped for maximum kneeroom. The only gripe in this area is the front door armrest, which continues past the the door opening. While it looks smooth and integrated when the doors closed, a larger guy will likely jab themself on the corner in the love handle area when exiting. I saw this happen at the GM car show yesterday.

Sat in a new Silverado LT
Sorry, no pics. I have one of those stupid Creative cams that they give away with MDG computers. It's slow and I don't use it often. It was full of pics and I didn't have time to figure out how to take them all off. There was no other versions of the 900's there. I was disappointed to see a lack of Sierras. To add to the first post, the seats had soft light gray leather and were very comfy. The centre console appeared to have lots of room. I didn't sit in the back row though, but I wish I had. The metal accents inside sure do a lot to add distinction to the trucky dash. Mich nicer than the silver paint in the F150.

Annual Camaro Show
It looks better in person, but it was my least favourite configuration. More opinion: http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=11180 ://http://www.cheersandgears.com/forum...howtopic=11180

Sat in an AURA XR
Again, at the Show n' Shine, I came across a brand-spankin-new AURA XR in beige with the Moroccan Brown interior. While the colour is bland, the Opel styling influence makes this car look more expensive than it is. The chrome detailing in the taillights is especially nice. While the wrapper will get it noticed, the interior will sell this car. The leather is absolutely delectable. I'd eat it if I could. While the radio and steering wheel are the same old song n' dance, the materials are easily the nicest in any car GM has ever sold at this price point. The gauges look really cool, and the rear seats are really roomy. I don't think I've ever seen front seats with such big indents for knee room before. Don't worry, they're really comfortable and well bolstered. If this car is a sign, then the sign points to more class-leading products from GM in the future.

Sat in a new Silverado LT
At the GM show n' shine, they had a crew cab Silverado, grey exterior with grey two tone leather interior. The exterior was my least favourite configuration with its short short bed, smaller wheels, and full chrome front end. It's the interior that tells the story. Believe it or not, while the plastics in the Tahoe's interior are acceptable, the LT actually had more soft touch. It's a very classy evolution of GM's past themes in their fullsizers. I can say with a straight face that I like the "work truck" dash better.

Annual Camaro Show
Yeah, they expanded the show this year to all things GM. There was a '82 Cimarron haha. They had a bunch of new product there. The Silverado, Aura and Sky Redline being the most notable. Cameras are stupid, so I took no pics. As for the Camaro Concept, it was the mockup. But I do say this: anyone who thinks the Camaro will look dated by the time it hits showrooms has to be out of their mind. The stance is so fresh that I don't see anything coming close to it in the next few years.

Just noticed...for 4th place, you have the wrong picture for AR05. That Eleganza was by Intimidator if I'm not mistaken.

Annual Camaro Show
At the Glendale Powertrain plant here in St. Catharines, the annual Camaro show is happening today. I missed the opportunity to go to the Autoshow this year, so it makes me extra happy to see that the concept will be there. I'm thinking it will be the red roller though, but that will be good anyway. There will be Firebirds and Vettes there also. I'll try to get some pics...

Saturn Aura review
GM needs division-specific switchgear. Once they get their heads above (or at least close to) water financially, hopefully they invest in this area. It would go a long way in reinforcing brand identity.

Camaro Officially Official
Sweet news! This means if I lease a Cobalt SS in a year and a half (waiting on my 25th b-day for the insurance break), I'll be ready for a new Z/28 when the term is up.
