  1. It's ugly, and the interior looks like a Silverado and an Element mated. The Honda probably can't match the torque of a V8, either. But I commend them for trying something different. Hopefully, the Lambda-based trucks blow this thing out of the water though.
  2. The Dale! It's in the Motor Trend 50th anniversary issue from September 1999. Here's a link. OOOOld thread, I know.
  3. Turned 23 on the 5th.

"Sucks for Canada." Just not as bad.
  5. It looks nice, but why did they even give it different doors? All it really changes is the shape of the side glass from the B-pillar back. They should have incorporated round wheel openings. Instead, they cheaped out and cut a hole out of a Yukon front fender and called it a day. But I must say, the interior is the nicest yet from GM. This will be hot shyte, make no mistake.
  6. BV said: "No matter how much proof I show them, they still think its death trap and (what really pissed me off) that its a "queer car"." Beev, just a question. Does your dad try to make you play football?
  7. The only thing that glaringly sucked (for a GM of the time) on these was the carpet on the dashboard on pre-'92 models. Pretty tacky.
  8. Peas. :puke:
  9. Love it 'cept the colour.
  10. Word dawg!
  11. But our REAL band is called Art Of Convulsion. Crazy metal that y'all might not get (i've seen all the "favourite bands" threads, so I know this).
  12. Chubby Pecker and the Four Skins
  13. Jon Stewart will love it!
  14. Greg Puciato from Dillinger Escape Plan.
  15. Wallace has some HUGE shoes to fill. Gonna miss ya, Mr.(King Of The)Hill.
  16. ...and it's not these. Rather, a 2+2 from '85 and a more base-model-looking '90 mock-up. Well, 2+2=Ugly in the case of the first one, but the second one has a cool concept-like appearance for the time. I like it better than the original 2M4 with the short buttress.
  17. I know! The weather is crap here in St. Catharines.
  18. Where have I seen this before? Oh yeah. In fact, I think they use the same reverse lights.
  19. Well duh... the video really has nothing to do with a burnout.
  20. "Just one other note about the top: Most European convertibles offer cloth tops. They look expensive and convey class. The Reatta has a cheaper-looking vinyl top like those used on lesser-priced cars." "A cloth top could make a big difference in the way people perceive the Reatta, which costs more expensive and convey class. The Reatta has a cheaper-looking vinyl top like those used on lesser-priced cars." "A cloth top could make a big diffe ence in the way people perceive the Reatta, which costs more than any car Buick has ever built. A more expensive-looking cloth top would help underscore the Reatta's exclusivity and value." I guess Mr. Truett coudn't decide how to word it, so he just narrowed it down to three.
  21. Wow. That's a good burnout for a Malibu!

Uh, GM invented the airbag, didn't they?
  23. Looks like a heavily revised current-gen Escape to me. The combination of the three-bar grille and the current Ford grille (as first seen in production on the '98 Super Duty) looks busy. I prefer the current Escape to this concept.
  24. "Nevertheless, the growling Solstice sounds better. Advantage: Draw." This, I don't get...
