  1. Don't lie, you still would... Except not the more I think about it... "Bob showing a little leg..."

Sound good! Double check for any possibility it has an adverse history (IE water damage to Katrina) that would explain it's low price...
  3. FYI, I am so honored to see that the guy who has been taking all of the spyshots I see is gay! Woot woot!
  4. Do it! Do it! Do it!
  5. 2007 was crazy! It seems like most people wished they could have hit fast forward... :-)

As a gay man whose extended family consists of conservative evangelists from Mississippi and almost too moderate for comfort farmers from Iowa, I can understand where you are coming from. I'm not quite sure what is worse-getting hateful looks and random disrespectful side comments from my neo-con relatives, or all of my moderate relatives who just are not willing to recognize it's existence. Sometimes I get more frustrated with the silence honestly. It is much easier to respond to anger with strength than it is to respond to those who are just uncomfortable... Luckily for me my immediate family is very very open, so much so that my mom often says, "thank god I was blessed with a gay son who could buy me decent Christmas gifts I'll actually USE!" I am proud of you for responding so well with your relatives. It takes a lot more strength than many would think to hold your ground like that-especially when it could risk alienating your other relatives. It shows wisdom for you to not allow your children to face that kind of ignorance in your home. ;-) -J
  7. As a gay man I do have to say that that was hilarious! It was like they found every stereotype and completely nailed it! I also had no idea there were other gay guys on this board! Whudathunkit! I figured I was posting alongside social conservatives all this time!...So much for stereotypes!
  8. They wouldn't actually re-badge it, but they would just use it in certain ads to poke fun at their competition. Imagine shots showing the really great new exterior of the Malibu while a voice-over similar to that of the Lexus or Mercedes commercials shows the highlights and calls it the M-series. Then, the commercial freezes to Bob Lutz or someone reading the letter above and apologizing for making such a stylish sedan, and that they will call it the M-series so that their "luxury" sedans don't look outdone. Then go to a normal screen with the Chevy bowtie logo and the Malibu name. As long as people are aware that the Malibu name is sticking, it would be excellent at achieving conquest sales.
  9. How about this? I also have an idea for targeting conquest sales from the Japanese automakers as well. :-P
