Goodbye.... Well, for now
A bit dramatic wouldn't you say?

A silk purse from a sow's ear
It will be interesting what happens to Pontiac. So long as it remains profitable, I see no reason why not to keep it.

am I the only one...?
Market perception of Hyundai for most Americans is quite good whilst Kia's is tragic. Whats even funnier is that they are the same company with almost identical product lines, platforms, and dealer qualities...

This is what happens when you let Sesame Street
homes in that area (at least on the exterior) of the country are Beautiful. I love the classic midwest look!

Chris Doane you better get Night Vision goggles
I'm from Tucson, and let me assure you of one thing-the area around Yuma is far from precious. It is the barren part of the Sonoran Desert. The rest is much more beautiful. I doubt GM is destroying more than a few dead bushes...

Gosh, and I thought *I* was a C&G nerd...
Leopard is incredible. It's worth the cost to upgrade! Which isn't that bad actually-It was 89.99 because I am a student. The advantage of Apple is that they provide solid discounts to students on EVERYTHING.

Interesting CAFE post at Autoblog
I'm not so sure about the numbers. They are VERY rough estimates (IE no E85 calculations for GM, the failure for him to include Acura, Lexus, Scion, other GM brands, etc.), but it is aninteresting cincept. I also didn't know GM had CAFE credits that they can use for future years... Maybe this gloom and doom speech really is PR BS...?

Happy New Year!

Apple OSX Represent! Couldn't help myself...- Rusty is a homosexual.
I will provide photographic evidence later-After looking at the 'Post Your Photo' thread, I don't want to dehydrate you from the salivation... :-P- Fighting depression
I believe Chevy is still the bestselling brand in Tucson. They are about neck and neck with Toyota here though. It's a bit more depressing up north in Phx....- New Chevrolet Malibu Careens Out of Gate
Malibu has never been huge out here in AZ... I think that could change over the next few years... we shall see! The Bu's here in Tucson have gone quite briskly from what I understand. There is still a wait!- New GM Additions for 2009
Though I agree that Chevy needs one (they should have gotten it in the first place), they definitely could have used the brand equity in the Trailblazer name for it, and left it as a 2-or-3 row CUV... GM marketing should TOTALLY hire me... :-P I am cheap too. Only 100k a year for part time work while I'm in college. TOTALLY worth it... :-)- Rusty is a homosexual.
I am young, and I look like a twink, but essentially EVERY person I've dated (usually about 5-10 yrs older is my age range) has expressed their disillusionment when they realized that I've had more life experiences than most of them. I really don't act like a twink at all... However, as long as I wear an Abercrombie and Fitch T-Shirt with Tight Jeans and wear my hair in a fauxhawk when I go to renew, I qualify for my discount.... Too bad you can't mix discounts though, I might qualify for the volume discount too!- another harebrained scheme
Actually, for a cobalt he has a point. Definitely Buy used. With American marques you'll be ahead of the depreciation curve even in the first or second year!- Yeah, that sucked.
What irks me is their preoccupation with the sex part. It's MUCH more than that. It's about world domination...errr...It's about who you fall in love with, building relationships, etc. Anyway, I haven't seen the inside of a closet since I was 13, though I often miss it. It was quite cozy. I had a fireplace and everything!- Rusty is a homosexual.
I'm sure someone here has the technical expertise to build a database platform powerful enough to handle the droves of information necessary. Besides, averaging the number of inches is a relatively easy function in the Excel world... :-P I of course have been their primary reporting source for the last 2-3 years or so... Oh, and what are the membership rates for 2008? I know they increase with age, but I think I still technically qualify for the 30% twink discount.- another harebrained scheme
In terms of depreciation, Any Econ professor would tell you otherwise-however I am part of the school of thought that believes having a new car every couple of years is worth it!- Nesbitt: "Making engineering and design work together"
Thats what I was thinking...- Word Association
- 2 movies
'Juno' was as brilliant as everyone says, and 'The Great Debaters" was spectacular (even though I really REALLY hate inspirational movies with sweeping classical scores designed to make you emotional). - Gosh, and I thought *I* was a C&G nerd...
