  2. Thank God more people are saying it... it's relatively a pointless purchase in my opinion.
  3. A LOT of factors contributed to the poor sales... it had little to do with the product, which, was actually good. Olds was going through a transitional point--much like where Buick is now, and unfortunately (which Buick isn't making the same mistake), they changed their product so radically, it abandoned their faithful customers before it had a new customer base to support it. Combined with some quality issues, and a few other things going on, as well as the declared demise of Olds, and there you have your craptacular sales.
  4. Side impact and side curtain airbags are standard on all LaCrosse trims for 2006.I agree about offering Nav though.
  5. Well, I think it'll help make it appealing to a few more. I know though with the addition of the 5.3, reviews will STILL boast the almighty HEMI in Chrysler's cars and call it inferior. Especially if it stays with the 4-speed auto.
  6. That's just sad. The W-body LaCrosse is going to be around for at least 3 more years.
  7. Well, the LaCrosse will get a revised grille as we've seen from the LaCrosse Super spyshot pinned at the top of this forum. I definitely want to see a few other changes... just some simple changes will go far. Out with the radio/hvac, in with the new tranny. Out with the plood, and in with the Lucerne's plood. Lower each trim's price by between 1000-1500. Then, I think we're talking.
  8. I agree with most of what you're saying. Regarding the V8, it can't be the Northstar because it was already stated it couldn't fit in the Enclave. It'll have to be another V8.

  10. Well, with the 3800 on its way out, maybe 2007 will be the year o change? And with the engine upgrades, I'll assume the 6-speed auto will be thrown in. Put in some of that Lucerne plood on the dash... new radio/hvac, car's good to go
  11. I agree with the pricing. I feel the LaCrosse CX should start at around 22,500, CXL around 23,995, and CXS at 25,500.

  13. The rear grew on me A LOT in the past year. Illuminated, it looks pretty classy in my opinion--when illuminated, it looks NOTHING like a Taurus.
  14. I'd like ventiports and a grille change please.
  15. Wait, I thought the LaCrosse Super was supposed to be a 2008 model? Maybe for 2007, the 3.6 is standard and on the CXS and/or uplevel trim, a new engine? I hope the interior gets the new radio.

The doors on my Century are so effin heavy for some reason. They feel like my friend's 82 Olds 98 doors.

So, since this is coming out for 2007, and the car is essentially built, when do you think we'll see some official photos?
  22. It'll be here in late 2007 as a 2008 I believe.
