  8. So, since it has an optional engine (9 whole horsepower), does that mean that is the ol' Shortstar?
  9. That is just SO funny! It even has a 3.8 engine standard!!... well, 3.8 horsepower.

    She's adorable Sixty8!
  11. How about a redesigned LaCrosse on the EpII, hot sedan... and then a coupe version called Riviera.Kinda like the Camry has its Solara. Only not ugly.

My parents got a Sonata with the V6... and I showed my mom the average fuel economy feature on her display. She wasn't happy as she was hoping for a much higher number. The V6 is pretty damn strong, smooth and quiet. The manumatic feature works well too.
  13. I'd like to see a "Riviera" coupe. I would like a large, luxury coupe... I think that'd be a vehicle I could see myself in, since I consider myself a "sedan" man.
  14. Well, I think the Escalade is absolutely beautiful... however, I HATE that clock on the dash! Ugh! Also, what's going on with the instrument cluster? In some pics on the cadillac site, it's white digits with blue needles, and in one pic, it's blue digits with blue needles. Which is it?
  15. Well, c'mon bob, the Lucerne is lightyears ahead of the LaCrosse. But still, can't afford either, so it's a moot point.I'd love a Lucerne CXL V8, but that isn't going to happen. As for the 3800, I don't have one, so by time I can afford a car, it'll be gone. Really doesn't phase me. Mom has a 3800. Nice engine, a bit rough, but then again, it's a Series I.

I'm in tears. That is the FUNNIEST thing I've seen in a long time!
  17. NOW LET'S GET RID OF THAT DAMN 3800 IN THE LUCERNE! Just kidding! I am not trying to bring that up again!
  18. I have to say, the one application I LOVED with LED taillamps was the previous Deville... where they had some sort of lens in front of them so it was just a block of bright light. Loved it. You're correct, the Mark VIII had a neon bar. And it looked AWESOME!
  19. I hate when people pronounce "roof" as "rough".
  20. I say if the car doesn't need rebates, so be it. There's absolutely no reason to offer rebates on this car... it's selling, I'm actually seeing a few on the roads, it looks good, it's getting awesome reviews. Let Buick have this one. Let GM have this one. When the new ES comes out, maybe it'll draw more attention away from the Lucerne, and if that's the case, and sales start to dwindle, then maybe throw in some incentives. As for now, let's stop some of the bleeding.
  21. Skull caps? Those aren't skull caps, that's a tank top!
  22. Sounds like. Maybe the Imperial will have real wood.
  23. That's the exact reaction I had. It's like GM likes to talk the talk, but they don't always walk the walk.Want to be luxury? You really need to have real wood in your flagship sedan.
  24. Sci, LED (Light Emitting Diode) taillamps have been declared brighter and do illuminate a fraction of a second faster than regular bulbs, aside from lasting a LOT longer than incandescents. Many places are starting to boast their cars having these. It's considered "safer".
