Buick Announces Pricing for All New 2006 Lucerne
From what I understand, the 3.8 is done after 2006. I believe after that, we have some really great things to see for the base engines in Buicks. I imagine (and hope), we'll be looking for either the 2.8L or 3.6L's and 6A's for base engines in the LaCrosse and Lucerne. I hope!! *fingers crossed*

Sexual Preference
It just doesn't. Hmmm... probably for the exact opposite reasons you like a woman, I like a man. You like soft, I like hard. You may like petite, and I definitely like broad. You may like a higher voice, whereas a lower voice gets me going. It just is what it is. Now, I tried SO hard to like women... I've kissed them... I've even fooled around a bit. Hey, I can say I'm a breast man, but for the wrong reasons--I have insomnia and have just felt that they make awesome pillows. Please... I've gone to straight strip clubs, and I have had lap dances... the whole thing is just a HUGE turnoff for me. And I would have done anything growing up to be "normal". Now, I like sex as much as any horny straight man, and I would be caught in your situation and called a pig if it was more acceptable for me to gauk at men, but it isn't, so I don't.

Sexual Preference
Again, I don't follow. Look in any dictionary and you'll find "gay" means homosexual as well as happy. Example from dictionary.com: gay adj. gay·er, gay·est 1. Of, relating to, or having a sexual orientation to persons of the same sex. 2. Showing or characterized by cheerfulness and lighthearted excitement; merry. 3. Bright or lively, especially in color: a gay, sunny room. 4. Given to social pleasures. 5. Dissolute; licentious. n. 1. A person whose sexual orientation is to persons of the same sex. 2. A man whose sexual orientation is to men: an alliance of gays and lesbians. It sounds like you need to take a step back and think about what you're saying before you critique someone's "improper usage".

C&G Spy Shots: The Next ION!
Let's hope this generation is the last of the 4-spoked wheels. :puke:

C&G Spy Shots: The Next ION!
I assume this Ion will get the 2.2 and 2.4 Ecotecs? It's a shame people complained about the 5-speed autos, because now that the new 06 Civic has one, everyone will claim it's a "segment-leading" feature that other people could learn from

Buick Announces Pricing for All New 2006 Lucerne
I'm VERY happy with the pricing of this car for 2 reasons. Any higher, and I wouldn't have thought it was worth it. And the fact that it only goes into the mid-30's means Buick will indeed have a flagship :) There's no way GM will let Buick top out at mid 30's. Maybe upper 40's, but not mid 30's.

A plane is about to crash land live on TV
It was kinda cool to watch, however, I can't imagine being on a plane that would make an emergency landing!

What is the Best Car for Having Sex?
I still have yet to figure out how I did it in a 1987 Sundance in the front seats... and I'm 6'3"!

GS450h specs
Can't we all just get along? :P I mean, although the STS has a slightly blander interior (which I actually prefer), I still feel the quality is comparable.

Buick Crossover/Centieme
It kills me to know it's gone. I would have much preferred LeSabre to Lucerne!

Friends & Lovers...
Nope... I'm afraid I'm already too far in "like" to turn around.

2005 Buick GL8 Firstland
I said it before, and I'll say it again: I do not like minivans or wagons. I have always thought and will continue to think, they're ugly as sin. This doesn't change a thing--granted I feel it's better-looking than the Terazza.

Oh that's right... I forgot it was the older generation. Didn't realize his was the 4 though.

Car Spotting
Okay, so I figured I'd put it in here... saw a car yesterday--NO idea what it was. I am really good with telling cars from their brake lights in the dark, but this was daytime, and I hadn't a clue. It was a wagon, sleek, rounded back (like instead of having a vertical rear window, it was angled in).. it was kinda like the color of the LaCrosse's Cardinal Red Metallic... the directionals were amber - I'm just trying to give you as much detail as I can. The logo was chrome, about the size of the dodge logo. If it wasn't going like 100 on the LIE, then I might have had a chance seeing what it was. Any ideas?

So what is it folks?
Yeah... YEAH!!! Pleeeease? I'll be your best friend!

So what is it folks?
See, I hope GM replaces the Ion name... if they go and replace such wonderful names as LeSabre and plan to replace Rendezvous when both had such a wonderful standing... I would hope they'd replace Ion, a car that has gotten nothing but crappy reviews from its crappy quality in the past. As for what the new car is based on the image, I haven't a clue. It's just not enough for me to speculate.

Got myself a beeyotch
Okay, since we're on the topic of dogs, what do you do when your dog is climbing over a 6-foot stockade fence... and they're just running up it--it's not like there's anything nearby they can jump on and over with... Max is scaling our 6-foot fence. We found the scratch marks all over the fence, and there's a bush he must be landing in when he jumps over. I swear, that dog is going to get himself killed one day. He loves cars--but doesn't quite understand that they won't all stop and let him in for a ride. Dumbass.

3100 V6 Longevity
That's not only the Century--I believe it's all cars with that body style/engine. I had a friend with an Olds (can't remember which one), same exact prob. (oh, and pardon my ignorance if I'm completely wrong on the whole topic of A-Bodies and such in this time period--I didn't really get into cars until the mid-90's, so all this info is still fuzzy to me). Now, my Century has the 3300... and surprisingly, without the a/c on, the 13-year old engine is super-smooth at 80-85 (not that I do it often, I just noticed it today when I didn't pay attention to how fast I was going). Now, not to take away from the point of this thread, but can anyone explain to me why (and it's been since I've gotten the car at 38,500 miles), I get a rough feeling under the brake pedal when braking and the engine downshifts into first? No matter how gentle I am, I still feel this. Is it common? But the 3100 is a great engine... I know TONS of people who have or have had cars with it and they've never had a problem--clearn into 150,000 miles. But the rest of the cars fell apart around the engines, so they got rid of them.
