  1. Apparently, for some stupid reason, there's a "National Coming Out Day" and we don't get off from work for it! :P

I got 25/26... the only one I didn't get was the Saleen.

    Oh, and the 6-speed auto.

Honestly, I feel they had to put the 3800 in the LaCrosse from the beginning. They wanted to have a smaller trauma making the transition from the old Buick into the newer Buick. C'mon, the LaCrosse interior is LIGHT YEARS ahead of the Regal and Century's, even if the outside is only a minor update in styling. I think it was done intentionally. Now, they've done their 3800 in the Buick for the 2 years, time to refresh the LaCrosse with a Lucerne-matching grille (al a` Velite), 3.6 standard with an optional engine w/ higher hp for the CXS (come on, sporty my ASS), and of course, REAL WOOD--It makes a difference.
  5. My joke to him is that he used up his one funny for the year (his sense of humor SUCKS, but he usually gets about one good one/year) LOL
  6. Okay, so what the hell are we supposed to do for National Coming Out Day? Get laid? Damn, I did that! LOL And yup, was that guy from the other post. I know, shame on me! :P
  7. God, this day reminds me of the "anniversary" of me coming out to my friends... My one homophobic friend Brian (he's not--he just was slightly before he knew about me), usually plays his joke on me like this: I say, "It's been x years since I've come out of the closet!" He says, "Don't you think it's about time you go back in?" Ba dum dum cheesh!

I have to tell you, after seeing my first Terazza in person, it confirmed my opinion: That is one UGLY vehicle.

What also annoys me is that the LaCrosse taillamps have like 3 circular parts to them... 1 is the actual light, and two are reflective surfaces. You think they would have done SOMETHING to make it stand apart from the others, like maybe making one of the reflective circles a directional lamp separate from the brakelight. Whatever.

If Buick does a convertible and I can afford it, chances are that would be a car I'd buy next. If it looks like the Velite, then even if I can't afford it, I'll buy it LOL

What's funny, but actually more sad, is that on the road from a distance, I can't tell the difference between a G6 and the Cobalt. I am VERY good at telling what a car is based on it's taillights, even a mile down the road, but these two are nearly identical! I agree with what you say Cananopie, Buick needs distinctive horizontal lights.

I keep hoping that Buick is just taking small steps to redefining it's look as to not lose customers. I feel the Lucerne is more aggressive, bolder, and a step in the right direction. The next Buick will have an even edgier look (So I hope!) As for the chromed out wheels, every time I look at them, they remind me of a mid-90's SC400's wheels:

Also, 18's should be an option on the LaCrosse--the size gives the car a more muscular stance.
  14. Paolino replied to wildcat's topic in Buick
Yeah, I do not like any of Buick's new wheel designs. Just not a fan.
  15. Let's just hope they're not senior citizens, or the chance of a more "youthful" image for Buick will be lost! :P
  16. I do see minivan in it, and I'm so glad at least one reviewer didn't like it, because it is so pointless for Mercedes to have. Not to mention, UGLY.

Oh damn, I thought the Rendezvous was going to be a late-2006 entry. Wow... no new product for 2007. Better hope there's a slight update to maybe the LaCrosse.

    That's a GREAT sig Ven! :)

I don't feel Buick will have only three models... I feel they'll have 3 sedans, 2 trucklike vehicles, and that's it. And honestly, 3 sedans is fine. It should be 3 sedans, or two sedans and one coupe/roadster, two trucks, in my opinion.
  20. Any idea when the 3V OHV engines are going to be worked on?
  21. OMG... I saw $95 for a turbo kit and thought to myself, "What kinda lame-ass turbo kit is 95 bucks!?" then I realized it was shipping LOL
  22. Yeah, now why is the fuel economy so crappy on that engine?!
  23. I dunno... I just don't like the XLR at all, never have. Never thought it was worth the money either. So, I can't get too excited about the XLR-V. I am, however, a huge fan of the STS. The STS-V will be very nice to see on the road, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't want one badly.

So sad. I'm going to miss the name and what it stood for, bigtime.
