  1. Absolutely agree with the other posts about the front page being too cluttered and large. Less content on the front page... less scrolling as well. If people want to explore specific content, let them go into the website, but keep major stories and maybe a top feature summary/links on the front page. Some have mentioned more color on the front page. I agree, but don't feel I'd add too much as you don't want it to be overly distracting. EDIT: What about having titles of major articles and maybe a 1-2 sentence summary... but a flash page where if you hover over the link, a blurb pops up with the first paragraph of the article? Too much to do?
  2. I'm curious to see how they function... it's almost as though the passenger-side wiper looks like it'll extend and wipe high. Could be my imagination. Or maybe only one wiper works on an "eco" mode to conserve the battery LOL
  3. Happy Birthday man!
  4. Haha, well, when I was in high school, all I wanted was a Mark VIII... and it's funny--I would never buy a coupe, but because it was so large, it was okay
  5. Gotta say.. my friend traded their Corolla in on the Mazda5, and it just doesn't do it for me. I mean, they wanted more room. My knees still touch the dash with the seat back. And adults can't sit in the third row. That's essentially seating for the dog now.
  6. I found an image... Hot Lava Orange Edition: Oooh, purdy!
  7. Over 200,000 miles and still going with ice cold a/c...
  8. Welcome! Where from?
  9. Okay, it's twice recently people here have mentioned GM's upcoming 2.5L 4-cyl engine... can anyone enlighten me about it or point me to a source of more info? Is it just a bored out 2.4 or entirely new?
  10. Okay, just saw the renderings of the exterior for the first time and gagged a little bit. I surely hope they're off. They seem to at least be slightly off with the taillamps as in the camo'd pics it shows amber directionals but in the rendering they're solid red. I love the exterior of the current Malibu--easily one of the best-looking midsizers out there. I just hope they don't Mazda3 it (i.e. ruin it).
  11. I absolutely want to see a V6 option in the Malibu.
  12. I'm still holding off on final judgement until I see the finished product. I am wondering if the "ribbed" area is incomplete... perhaps a piece of plood or brushed aluminum slides in there--there's plood around the driver's side window controls and I don't see it elsewhere in the car so I'm assuming it'll appear somewhere else. If plood fit in the ribbed area it'd be a reinterpretation of the "dual cockpit" thing the current Malibu has (which also has plood trim).
  13. This. It's driving me CRAZY. I have some friends who've said that Toyota has slipped way on their list and they'd probably never buy one again. I also have friends who have had Toyotas. Have had problems with them. And stand by them and say, "Nothing like these claims have ever happened to us... Toyota has been good to us. GM probably has their own skeletons in the closet and they just haven't been found out yet. I'd buy another Toyota in a second." My brain was fried at that point and had to change topics.
  14. Not sure--need better pictures. Not digging the pods for the gauges though. Nice to see Nav, Pushbutton Start and Dual Zone Climate Control finally though.
  15. Many people who come to this country find it difficult to get used to the same sized, same colored, currency for each denomination. I wouldn't mind seeing an update to our currency. I'll be honest though, I debit 90% of the time, and rarely have more than 20 bucks in my wallet. EDIT: I wouldn't mind seeing an update to the value of our currency compared to other countries, but that's another, more-heated topic entirely.
  16. alright

When that first aired I was crying... it was the perfect way to end my day.

Modern Family is a riot... just picked up the emmy for Best Comedy too. I admit it irritates me too, Usonia, that the gay characters are too stereotypical, but that's also part of the fun. Another funny comedy on Wednesday nights before Modern Family is The Middle. I just started watching the DVDs and was highly amused. Glad sitcoms are coming back!
  21. You can barely hear it for the Lincoln video, but at 1:17, he starts the car: And now for a clearer version, the Ford...
  22. off
  23. When my car was new, I was just got my license. I, of course, didn't own it yet Now, uh, I've been driving for 17 years.
  24. When the GS comes out, it'll remedy that. As for the 2.0L turbo, every review of it I've read stated it's a gem.
