  1. I was discussing overall design. The TSX is so bland, monochromatic, etc. IMO, this has a lot going on... chrome/silver accents, wood, two shades in the brown family, etc. I realize that the ebony version looks just as stark as the TSX, but you can't get the TSX in a neutral color anymore, as far as I know of.
  2. That interior blows the TSX's out of the park. It's gorgeous, luxurious, and everything about this car screams New Buick to me. I was upset that I wasn't going to be able to handle buying a new LaCrosse and didn't want to settle for the older one, but this (depending on pricing), should be right up my alley.
  3. That's EXACTLY what I was thinking!
  4. I apologize. I was under the impression these were those steel wheels that "look" like alloys. I didn't realize they were still using wheelcovers. I think it's absurd since the 2009 LaCrosse made alloys standard on the CX, as well as dual-zone climate control (while single zone is standard on the 2010 CX)
  5. No Buick cars for 2009 or 2010 have offered plastic hubcaps. In 2012 though, when/if this car gets a CX trim, I'm guessing it'll have cloth seats. And I'm a "young person" and I know at least 2 others who are young and would love to own Lucernes. I agree with you though, if customers don't give this Regal a shot, it's their fault.
  6. Only two things I don't like on this car are the wheels and the rear. Wheels are an easy fix, and the rear I could live with. That cabin to me looks like a great place to spend a lot of time (and driving on LI, well, that's where you spend a lot of time)
  7. I want to see the interior and exterior in other colors!
  8. When I see pricing, I think this is it for me. Around November 2010 is when I'm most probably making a car purchase.
  9. Paolino replied to buickguy's topic in Buick
Not every Buick needs them. I think it looks fine without them. Every auto maker is throwing them on so it takes any design significance away because the general public has no clue it's historical to Buick.
  10. I could definitely live with that
  11. I'm not saying on looks... I want to know engine/package-wise/options, what will differentiate it. Being that the Cruze is supposed to be a little more premium than the Cobalt, I'm wondering how it'll differ from this.
  12. So whop on the beat... to where there's music playin... One Day at a Time, One Day at a la da da da
  13. Not bad. I still need to see what differentiates this from a Cruze.
  14. Some shows I remember from growing up: la mujer bionica (Bionic Woman theme, inside joke between the Spanish teacher and myself) Diff'rent Strokes Theme Who's the Boss (started my Alyssa Milano obsession) (actually, I didn't watch this until a few years ago) And I won't admit to the last three big ones I watched
  15. Some of my favorite theme songs include I Love Lucy All In the Family Unsolved Mysteries Growing Pains (although that was an actual song) Golden Girls (again, a cover of an actual song)
  16. Okay, so I've been saying this for a few years now... tv show theme songs are gone. I don't even know why it's so important, but at any given moment, you can hum a theme from a tv show anytime between the 50's through the early 2000's, and everyone knows what it you're talking about. Most smile and join in. TV shows now don't have theme songs (at least most of them). They have a title screen at most. Some don't even do that and scroll credits during the beginning of the episode. Am I the only one who misses theme songs? The reason I bring it up is because again the discussion surfaced tonight when my cell went off ringing to the theme of The Office, and people chimed in humming it.

That had to be chosen on a dare. I'm sorry, but there are a million names anyone could come up with other than Verano.
  18. Oldsmobile Cadillac Buick Chevrolet Pontiac GMC
  19. Either a medium or dark blue metallic. I was a huge fan of slate blue metallic on the LaCrosse.
  20. Amongst the Mercedes, Lexus, BMWs and Audis in town, a red 2010 LaCrosse CXL. It was a beautiful sight.

Yes, almost every week on gLee. And although I haven't thrown a drink in someone's face, I have poured ice water down their shirt.
  22. I signed up for a twitter account over the summer. My friend is addicted to it, and I just can't get into it. I admit, I got overwhelmed by the insane amount of tweets I get from Alyssa Milano (I think she's just awesome and one of the only 2 girls I'd sleep with), but she was fair and warned she tweets a lot. It just basically boiled down to the point where I said to myself, I just don't care. If anyone wants to shoot 140 characters to me about something they need to say, they can text me.
