  1. Great MT cover..I haven't seen that yet. I just hope GM follows through and sweats the details and builds something that will be a bonafide HIT!!!

That's the lake at City Park..behind the Natural History Museum... Cherry Creek reservoir is a few miles to the south east of there in Aurora. I moved to Denver about 4 years ago.. the dry weather, endless sunshine, great local beers, and decent techie job market are some of the reasons that have kept me here. Seattle is pretty nice, when it's not raining.. I'll probably be up there for a few days to visit some friends this summer...I was in Portland in Dec. but didn't make it up to Seattle.

I was in downtown LA on Labor Day weekend a couple years ago and was amazed how dead it was on the weekend...at 2 in ther afternoon..not a lot of traffic or people out and about.
  4. Yes, it looks like a solid competitor in the FWD/AWD entry-lux market... I like the interior and exterior... I've driven the A4 and TL, if I were shopping for one of these, I'd probably go for the TL as you can get a manual, it has more features for the price than the A4, and I really like the interior and exterior styling.
  5. brown noise
  6. Immodium.
  7. So I wonder how far Lincoln is going to take the alpha thing..is the Navigator going be come MKN---or MKXL? and the Town Car become MKTC?
  8. Wierd...so the Zephyr is a one-year only model.
  9. Chicken
  10. I had an '06 GP as a rental for 5 days in December..as far as the interior, there were some aspects I liked (the feel of the steering wheel, the faux aluminum trim, the feel of the shifter knob, the ignition on the dash, the ergonomics overall were good (placement of controls, etc)) and some aspects I didn't like (poor outward visibility--the side window shape created big blind spots and it was hard to see much behind, seats too low; the dash materials felt cheap; the red lighting was annoying (but I think that about red guage lighting in any car).
  11. The G6 is your entry level Pontiac coupe, the GTO is the premium one. Like or leave it.
  12. I think it's a strengthening thing on the convertible..lessens windshield frame shake.. or since the coupe has it also.---with the slope of the glass and shape of the door, a full-width window probably probably wouldn't lower all the way..
  13. I wonder how the G6 convertible will compare..
  14. At lunch today I saw a white '66 Olds Dynamic 88 ht in nice shape. Parked next to a totally worn out '90s under-Achieva.
  15. It would be cool to build a modern version of that from an Escalade... MEGA BLING! 4 Northstars... 4 wheel drive..stretched front end..
  16. Hmmm..or maybe a slightly disguised version of the G6 coupe. Given how the 9-2X and 9-7X came about, I wouldn't be surprised to see something like this. I still think Saab needs a 3-dr version of the 9-3.

Here's my city's skyline, similar angle to how I see it everyday in my 'hood. It looks best from the east, though, with the Front Range in the background..
  18. Spotlights were a popular customizing trick (factory option?) in the '50s, I think.. I wonder if they are functional..
  19. It would be cool to have a Sky and replace the badging with Opel GT parts (grille trim, emblems, etc).
  20. Senior citizens. The Gray Panthers were/are a senior citizen activist group..
  21. Yes...B&W, dark, wet street, headlight beams... elements that made older advertising great!
  22. Winding road.
  23. .Yes, the rare '71 Vega SS 454 ht Not a ht, but Ford had a convertible Vega in '53 (one-off).
