2008 Chrysler 300 Refresh
Doesn't look much different to me, the third brake light in the trunklid, the interior is more plush. Is that the LY platform, or still the LX? I have seen the new Magnum (2008 I think?) and it looks VERY much nicer this time around IMO. I like it.

Great 1961 Chevy Commercial
Looks like the XP700 in the background at the beginning. I wish the whole video clip was about it!

Full size straight 6 or V8 truck? With two doors! About as credible as a 1937 Chrysler Airflow I guess.. LOL

Cobalt interior eerily similar to...
Yeah, it had ONE thing going for it.... :rotflmao: I don't see a similarity to the Cobalt's interior, the Chevette was terrible, I've been in a few. WORST performing car I have ever been in was a Vega with a Chevette engine swapped in. Add very tall gears and voila! A car a bicycle could truly beat!

Reworked interior? CHECK THE FLOORS/FRAME! See if there is rust repair and if it is done well or if it's a hack job.

1950s GM cars trivia
Not at all. I've built a bazillion Chevys! I just like the weird trivia, I thought it was a lesser known thing for most people nowadays! I remember somebody also said something about a Pontiac suspension A arm being a Corvette piece of some sort, that it was in a Hollander interchange manual. I don't know the answer (IF there is one) but does anybody else know? Mid 60's rings a bell...?

1950s GM cars trivia
It was introduced as soon as possible, as there was no PROVISION for an oil filter. It showed up late the very same year with the filter provision, and never was produced without an oil filter provision again. First year for an engine the company would be built on (IMO) wasn't intended to have NO oil filter option? That woulda been crazy, would it not?

What brands need to leave the US market?
Repetitive brands.. For GM -Oldsmobile -Saturn For Ford -Mercury Chrysler got rid of Plymouth, they should think about looking at Chery next. LOL -Kia -Scion -Suzuki (let GM sell them?) -Any of the lower production number imports. -High end imports, let the rich import them... Mind you, I think variety is the spice of life, and a lack of competition wouldn't be a GOOD thing for automakers already in need of repairs...??

Odd Corvette Trivia
The white one is now owned by Kevin Suydam, it was originally bought by Jack Cheskaty. It's the "undocumented" car, as it is called in the ZL-1 circles... it's the "6753" car with a Oct 68 build date. The yellow one blew the original engine very soon after purchase, the engine wound up in a drag boat. It's the "29219" car build date Sept 1969. Documented, but not 100% all original. It's the George Heberling company car... The RED car was an L88 car, the car commonly mistaken for a 3rd ZL-1. It was at a track with one of the above cars when they were new, but is commonly accepted as an L88 car mistaken for a ZL-1. It's the ORANGE car that leaves me wondering. Owned by John Maher, it's the "10209" car. Orange automatic convertible with a Dec 68 build date. It's purported to be a DOCUMENTED ZL-1 car too. Many argue over the white car owned by Suydam, some feel it's an "upgraded" L88 car. Most think the white and yellow cars are the only two ZL-1 Corvettes that ever existed. John Maher's car leaves me wondering.

Mo-Par don't Go Far....
Correct again. Outlawed, the 43jr car, which went into the crowd and killed an 8 year old spectator. I don't think Richard drag raced again.

Odd Corvette Trivia
That's a link to the red car, which I am fairly positive was an L88 car. I've seen quite a bit on it over the years, although I *might* be wrong some pretty knowledgeable guys over the years have said it was a test mule, but not a ZL-1 car. The orange car of Maher seems to be a ZL-1, but it's rarely mentioned. I'm guessing Maher's car is the "non-accepted" car?

Cremazie Caliber review
Maybe the 300hp SRT4 will be better suited to the CVT, who knows. The one I drove was the 2.0 (I think) and while it had adequate power it needed to be driven a little "different" than a regular auto in order to get up and go.... more pedal! lol

2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 3500
Put a smile on my face, or WHAT? You were THIRTEEN years old, and you wrote that? I'm bloody impressed! I would have never guessed you were a youngin unless I read your posted age. Congrats Charger4U. GREAT job. From the heart.

Cremazie Caliber review
I've driven them and indeed, the answer is above. MORE gas pedal, or more power. The one I drove wasn't bad, but it wasn't a performance car for sure. Snowmobile guys love the CVT trannys. I'm on the fence.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage
The Coupe version is stunning IMO. The convertible is nice looking, but I think the Coupe really pulls it off better. (Ok, ok- DROPHEAD!) haha Is that your XKSS Razoredge? Beauty!

why does GM allow toyota to say they have most powerful truck?
I'm used to the 1960's, when a 426 Hemi had 425 horsepower. Didn't matter what compression ratio, solid or hydraulic cam, street Hemi or race Hemi, intake, anything. 425 horsepower rating. At least if all manufacturers are forced to provide numbers that can actually be COMPARED, it's a big step in the right direction. Kudos to GM and all others IMO.

New Malibu Impressions
It's OK looking for me. I like the interior better than the exterior.
