I accidentally
Before that little adventure I had never so much as seen one, it was quite the experience, although since the van had power steering, not the full experience.

I accidentally
Learned how to drive three-on-the-tree. '77 Chevy G10 (I think, it was a big van) Not nearly as awkward as I would have thought. It also kept up with traffic pretty well considering it was laden with old furniture and stuff going to Goodwill. I had to learn on the fly too, since the guy who loaned it to me just asked if I could drive a manual and threw the keys at me. The hard part was figuring out that what I assumed would be first was actually reverse.

But the G6 was the pinnacle of automotive perfection.

How Long and How Far
500ish miles from Chicago to Springfield, MO several years ago in my L200, about 9 hours. I have every intention of going as non-stop as possible out to Arlington next week. I really dont think there is anything worth stopping to see between here and there.

Chevy Cruze pricing, options, packaging
Never had a problem with my Ecotec/5-speed L, but the post-facelift models gained a bunch of weight and ended up being pretty slow.

Is an insurance company really going to worry about a shift knob?

OH MY GOD
If you're already fairly active, a few dietary changes will do wonders pretty quickly. Replace carbonated drinks/HFCS with water, tea or real juice, eat smaller portions) and snack on things like grapes instead of chips and candy and you're in better shape in no time.

But are they going to be willing to chop 40% the asking price? Because thats what the thing is really worth.

2001 Dodge Dakota
Just quickly scanning Craigslist and eBay, it looks like for that same money you can get a decent F-150 or Silverado of the same vintage. I'm looking around the site, and they have an '04 L300 listed at $7995. Yeah, that place runs prices up like crazy.

2001 Dodge Dakota
Overpriced by a couple grand at least. I've never heard anything bad about these. I know the 3.9 I had in my Dakota (an '89, it was carbureted) ran like an absolute champ.

OH MY GOD
We went to the mall today to check something out. In addition to all the fat people, there were a lot of those typical skanky 15 year old girls. My wife and I were at Starbucks and saw a group of 5-6 of them. As we're standing there waiting, Jill said something about half of them probably having herpes, I told her they probably all have herpes, but half of them have probably had abortions. And thus, a fun mall game was born. Ahhhh, American society. We're f@#ked.

- Cars that you once HATED, and now like...
Honda Element At first I thought it was ridiculous, then the styling and utility grew on me, then I drove one and was put off by the awkward driving position. So I hated it, then I loved it, then grew disenchanted.- Random automotive question
The worst I can think of that I've sat in lately would be my dad's Lesabre. Just awful. The seats in the Prius were fine for the first hour or so, but weren't great for driving for long periods of time. I have no idea how my wife drove it from here to Baltimore and back without visiting a chiropractor afterwards. I have no complaints about comfort in either the Cooper or the Jetta, which I guess is all you can really ask of a car.- Guys night out
The coupe is better looking, but I love convertibles. - Cars that you once HATED, and now like...
