The 2.2 and 2.4 in the Cobalt are rated the same by the EPA 25/34 with a stick, 24/32 with an auto. The Civic is rated at 30/38 with a stick and 30/40 with the slushbox. Compared to the Civic, the 'Balt gets horrible mileage, if you go by what the EPA says. Realistically, I get 30mpg in almost all city driving with my L, I bet the Cobalt will do better than that once broken in.
  2. Your first brand new car will be a 2009 Saturn ION, bright red with black interior and an automatic.
  3. Ok, so a hearse would be easy to have sex in, but I would be creeped out beyond belief. First of all, the thought of having sex on a spot where dozens of dead bodies have laid in wodden coffins, creepy. Secondly, having sex with a woman who wants to have sex in a hearse, a little strange. Thirdly, having sex with a woman who wants to have sex in hearse and has access to one, I'm running. There are a lot of places I will have sex, but not in a hearse. Or in a hammock when alcohol is involved, it gets ugly. Station wagon would be fine, SUV, ok, mini/full size van, sure. But I dont think I could in a hearse, or an ambulance, or a coroner's van. I probably could in a police car if I had the opportunity.
  4. Isn't the process of assembly for Kappa more involved, more difficult? Wilmington used to build the L-Series, before that it either built minivans or Malibus/Cutlasses I dont remember which, so it should be able to handle decent capacity for regular assembly.
  5. I've seen infomercials for things like what you describe, raz. Except instead of an input jack, they use an FM transmitter and a microphone you clip onto wherever. I wondered how well they work, but never bothered to follow up. Headsets are a pain in the ass, although I might be a little biased there, since my phone took one too many drops and decided that it didn't want to get out of headset mode even though I dont own a headset. I couldn't hear anything, had to get a replacement. Anywhoooo.......I have a feeling that cell phones will play a part in the apocolypse.
  6. In this day of gigantic emblems, I'm surprised he bowtie on the steering wheel isn't three feet wide.
  7. I'm pretty tired, I wont make a joke about a flapping mullet catching on fire, ok? :P :D

Will it still look good in 18 months when it is actually revealed? Or in 24 months when it finally hits lots? Or in 92 months when it is ready to be replaced? Thats a long time, a lot can happen. The benchmark cars of today will be vastly improved by the time this finally hits lots, lets hope GM knows what they are doing.
  9. I'm a GM owner, but an automotive enthusiast. Do I like a lot of GM products, past, present and future? Yeah, but I also like a Ford or two, there are a couple of cars coming from the American end of DCX that I wouldn't be ashamed to be seen in, Honda has some stuff that interests me and that I would seriously consider buying, VW has lost some of its charm, but they're still pretty neat cars.
  10. Latitude, not longitude
  11. Depends, how large is your cousin? You so knew that was coming.
  12. Well, my '87 Dakota with a camper shell and an air mattress wasn't too bad. Girlfriend got a mild concussion once, but it wasn't too bad.

Its going to hit more oil refineries than Katrina did, prepare for $4.50/gallon.
  14. I drive a stick and I can talk while driving. Because of where I rest my left foot, it is really easy to steer with my knee, which is a handy skill to have when you do what I do. Taking corners is interesting, but I can do it. You want to have a little fun? Get in a car with a stick, get on the phone and drive around. Anytime you go to turn left, get in the turn lane and change cds as slowly as you can. Talking on the phone, shifting, steering and changing cds requires otherworldly coordination.
  15. Do Commander drivers all go commando?
  16. Hey look, its an Antara Quad Coupe, except at night. No, this is not a serious entry, although it is less of a joke than my last one. I'm sure there are 12 more choppers out there who can do worlds better than I did with this ten minute MS Paint job. So do it. I'd like to see a realistic interpretation of how the next VUE will look, Saturn grille, 4 doors, etc. Lets see if we can have an actual competition in here. If we get 15 entries (not counting mine) for this one, I promise to never again use Paint to make a retarded entry and enter it.
  17. If you're going to take the time to rip off a companies styling, you might as well rip off their crumple zones as well. Those videos are scary. If these things do get sold in the U.S. they are going ot have lawsuits out the ass, and not only from Isuzu.

Most of the time we have pics of Camaros and various other classics in threads that have nothing to do with Camaros and other classics. You say import fans should stay on the topic at hand, yet you often go off on these pic rampages that have little if anything to do with what everyone else is talking about.
  19. A/C should be standard with an option to delete. Power windows/locks/mirrors would be nice as standard as well, since most people are going to order them and most dealers are going to stock them like this. StabiliTrack should be there as well, at least as an option.

I wish, my car insurance would drop drastically if I were married. :o <_< He, as an Admin, can modify/delete/add to any member's sig or avatar. Why he has chosen me, I'm not sure, probably has something to do with all of the Gary Coleman lookalike jokes I've made in the past.

A little more sane perhaps? It is a great website.

Wow, my sig keeps getting bigger. We used to have a Little Caesar's, but it closed about 4 years ago. Another, locally owned pizza place took over about a year later and they have the "Pizza Pizza" sign up in the window, I'm guessing the Little Caesar's people left it.

Why not prove your point by posting pics of the Camaro and classic GMs?

Seriously, the ass end of the Blazer looks like a Suzuki Esteem wagon.
  25. I haven't gotten into an accident, and I drive like an idiot cell phone or not. :P
