  1. I agree, and how many times have our electronic gadgets failed us in everyday life. I am certainly not going to put blind faith in a computer sensor to tell me my oil, coolant, etc needs to be checked. How hard is it to check your fluids every other gas fill up. Are people that lazy that they can not check fluids themselves. Now I need to go check my bodily fluids as well :P

Looks nice to me except for the rear wing, but it does remind me of a 2 door version of the Prius. Have not seen the pics of the interior yet so I will reserve my judgement. I bet I will see a lot of these in my town.
  3. No she isn't, she fell in love with all the gadgets. I on the other hand don't give a sh*t what the rest of the people think, I would buy a "redneck" Vette anyday and drive circles aorund most cars that cost more. They can keep there Euro - mobiles and lame status that comes with them. As soon as my son starts driving in a year or so, it will be time to trade in my TA for a new Vette. I will be a proud "redneck" Vette enthusiast. B) P.S. When I was visiting Manhattan Beach, I noticed how many people drove MB and BMW. Talk about the "sheep" mindset. How can you stand out in a town where everyone drives the same damn car. I guess the Jones have to keep up with all the other Jones. At least a Vette would stand out against a sea of BMW, MB, Jags, etc. When she took me to Bel Air, I saw plenty of Ferarri, Lamborghini, Bentlys. Now we are talking cars. :)
  4. Like the stock non-functioning reverse induction hood on my 93TA B)
  5. I am gonna have to pick up a copy. That is a lot of domestic iron for one issue.
  6. Yes, one gets tired of the constant dribble Top Gear puts out, but once in a while it is great fun chaps.
  7. Kinda of cool but the front end looks like it is melting or something....kinda of weird on the other hand.
  8. I agree and even my son noticed the Pontiac rip off from Mitshibushi starting several years ago.
  9. Must be nice to be able to blow your wad on something like that. Now lets see if I can marry one of the Hilton sluts. B)
  10. The NSX is a bad ass car. They should have left the retractable headlights alone; the design looked more intergrated. The fixed headlights never grew on me as much as I tried to like them. The new Corvettes headlights did not take too much time to like them but a new design helped in this case.
  11. Thanks for clearing it up Siegen. And on a side note, when I like something from the imports I will say it but it does not mean I would buy it. I just try to stay a little open minded about things. On a side note my neighbors just traded in their fairly new Accords for two fairly new Mercedes Benz 230s. It will be interesting too see how that works out for them but I think they may have made a mistake.

3 cheers to dave Hill for making the Vette a respected name once more. This new guy though with his experience that seems to be heavy on the truck side has me worried about the future for the Vette.
  14. I personally don't see a lot of Banglized 5 series in this car. I think the car looks good and I would certainly take one over a BMW. The pics look better then the artist renderings as well. If it has AWD it will be an impressive car.

2 transports loaded with Vettes, Gtos and a couple of Solstice. I just about crap my opants and called up my 15 year old son to tell him. He loves all three cars as well. Damn, I need to get a life B)

I have a clear iSkinz on my mini iPod that I can pull of and scrub. It has savet the finish on my mini many times over.

I guess I will have to give it a try. Mindcrime was what got me hooked on Queensryche.

The last Queeensryche CD I bought was q2000 or something like that. I barely listened to it because it was way to slow and boring. Maybe the absence of Chris deGarmo made things worse.
  19. That is a BIG BULLSHITand typical import talk. I happen to own a Toyota product as well and they are not as bullet proof as eveyone makes them sound, per our RX300 and it has had more then just oil changes <_< Everytime I talk to most import driver they say domestic cars suck because the motors don't last and the trannies go out and how their import can run with 200,000/300,000 miles and are so much more reliable. When I mention my car then they come up with excuses that I must baby my car or I don't drive it like it was meant to be driven. Many of my fellow Trans Am owners in our club have had the same relaibility. It seems to me import drivers can not handle the possibility that the motors and trannis of domestics are better then they want to believe.
  20. Damn that is crazy. Great to hear there are dealers who are not marking them up.
  21. ...but comparing it to a 4 year old design is BS, of courese it will be better and fresher. Every time the domestics do something similar they are accused of using the last generation import to show how much better the domestic stuff because in reality it isn't. Yet it is okay for the imports to do so. Could it not be possible that it is not that much better. I am hearing that the plastics are just as hard and brittle as the domestics but the media seems to be glossing this over. I will check one out myself and judge it on what I see.
  22. My 93 Trans Am has 162,000 miles on the original tranny and motor and it still whips ass over most Asian and european cars :) . It has seen regular oil changes, two tranny fluid changes and the 100,000 mile tune up. Talk to me about my mother in laws Coralla ans he has spent more money maintaning that car then I have.
  23. good to hear it is a flop of sorts.
  24. So the Germans will say, see America can't build a sports cars like we can! On a different note, I checked out a 2006 Z06 in the Sacramento area and they have a window sticker of.....drum roll please.....$91,600 and the insanity has started!
  25. I guess i need to check my glasses. :P
