Next-gen Nissan Altima to bow at New York show
You are by-far, the dumbest, one-sided, uninformed GM-Kool-Aid overdosed member I've seen on this board. OHC engines suck? accoding to who? G6 wannabe? give me a break. Just because it has a coupe and convertable doesn't make it a better car, and I'm not buying the fact that's it's a better car just because of that. Since you say the G6 is better? Tell me why and how? Buddy, don't crack me up, if you say stuff like this, then you have little or no knowledge about cars. The only car you've ever driven in your life is your precious G6, at least that's the way it sounds. and damn, talk about being over-dosed on the GM Kool-Aid!!!

Next-gen Nissan Altima to bow at New York show
I dunno, I'm not going to draw any conclusions, because I havnt seen the complete car yet. However, I think that Nissan, like Mazda had their 15 minutes of fame. I think Nissan will end up being like Mazda, where they had cool looking cars, but then ran out of ideas, so they continue the same thing on all their cars. Note: New Sentra looking like a mini-Maxima.

INCENTIVES
Another pointless thread for regfootball to cry about how the domestics are treated unfairly blah blah blah

GM Exec Slams Consumer Reports
Yeah, so let's raise the prices to almost what the competition is selling theirs, to make our products look "not cheap". Give me a break.
-
GM Exec Slams Consumer Reports
This is getting radiculous. GM's reps are crying that CR is treating them "unfairly". Okay, then tell me, what products are GM giving us, that would make car critics choose theirs over world-class vehicles Japan Inc are offering us. Cost cutting, and pushing out half-ass efforts like the CSV vans and a cheap Cobalt/Pursuit where the hoods and truck lids never line up, is the main reason whey their products don't match up with vehicles from Toyota and Honda. If I was them, I would stop whinning, like most of them are, and actually go back to the drawing board, otherwise your cars will always be considered second-class vehicles. Plus, if you are offering us second-class vehicles, stop pricing them as if they were first-class. Heck, I think, if they want to win back customers, they should price these things BELOW the Korean offerings.

GM Exec Slams Consumer Reports
And you know this because you test-drove all of them, and made a complete comparison of the vehicles, right?

My friend bought a new Toyota Camry
You know what? I had a feeling I should have brought my camera that night..... It was a cold night, and watching Ted humping the Camry made it all warm and funny

What if the G6 was rebadged...
Lol, I miss the Grand Am name.

My friend bought a new Toyota Camry
LOL, don't stress, let ppl get whatever they want. It's his money not yours. Maybe he just doesn't like the G6 or Cobalt, don't shove it down his throat into buying it for the sake that it's domestic. When you go shopping for a car, then you can get whatever you want.

My friend bought a new Toyota Camry
Lol, two nights ago, me and TED, went to check out the new Camry that was launched the same day. It was 11:40 pm and there was still a sales guy inside the dealership. He noticed us looking around, and I asked him, if they sold any yet. There were about 5 of them on the lot. He said they're all sold. Ted's reaction: "They're all sold?" "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!"

-
Edmunds: Japanese First Drive: Honda Fit
regfootball possesses a special gift on this board, he is psychic. He knows how a car drives/performs, how it's built, and if it will be reliable just by looking at a picture, glancing at the interior through the window, or by looking at the badge.

Edmunds: Japanese First Drive: Honda Fit
The Aerio is not a Microcar, it's actually big enough to compete with the HHR.

Edmunds Full Test: 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser
I have to disagree with you. Me and Ted at the show concluded that for the same money, and they do end up costing the same, you're better off with the FJ. First off, you get a real truck, with real off-road capabilities, more room, more power, and the Element is a Civic with 4WD. For the same money.

Edmunds: Japanese First Drive: Honda Fit
Hey, if you have a 5-spd, the car should be peppy, the autos, however robs the little 4 cyl of much of it's power.
-
Edmunds: Japanese First Drive: Honda Fit
That's like comparing apples to oranges. The Fit and Aveo fall into the A-class (sub-compact) and the Caliber is a C-segment (compact), trust me, 100 hp is more than enough for a car that weighs around one metric ton.

Toyota Yaris: Why is toyota so stupid?
Don't you ever get it? It is designed for economy, not speed and power.

Edmunds Full Test: 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser
Yes, I gotta agree with you, the interior is ugly, however, the lighting on the dash and instrument cluster makes it look nice driving at nice. Toyota always had boring, or unattractive interiors, however their use of materials, and how they're put together gave them the good reputation.
