Detroit Hyundai Genesis
Polish_Kris replied to Polish_Kris's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)I've spoken to people who own Sonatas and Elantras with 300,000 km or more on the odometer with minimal repairs, which came to a shock to me. Kia owners complain though, even though they are "The same", I still find that Kia products are cheaper, and not as well built as Hyundais are. Kind of like LG and Samsung. Samsung products seem more durable as opposed to LG products from personal experience. However, time will tell.

2009 Kia Borrego
That's according to you, but according to the increasing number of buyers of these vehicles, the styling is working. (SUBARU & KIA)

2009 Kia Borrego
Subaru is the brand to watch, I noticed they finally are picking up in terms of sales, and new customers. The Mazda3 inspired impreza gave them a boost up here in Canada, at least from what I am noticing. They're everywhere! In terms of the asians, I see the Hyundai/Kia the brand to watch out for too.

Toyota @ NAIAS '08 Venza Crossover
Polish_Kris replied to bowtie_dude's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Not much, because allot of the domestic competition have or are in the process of axeing their minivan programs. Minivan buyers will turn to Toyota and whoever is left producing minivans.

Detroit Hyundai Genesis
Polish_Kris replied to Polish_Kris's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Read what it offers though, in terms of power, performance, and standard features, I'm sorry for the money, nothing can really match it.

Detroit Hyundai Genesis
Polish_Kris replied to Polish_Kris's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)That's what I'm saying, and the reliability might be better than the Germans that cost 70% more, which is very sad.

Polish_Kris replied to regfootball's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Actually, he's right on the ball... don't worry, he's not writing anti-GM literature, nor is he insulting them.

Toyota @ NAIAS '08 Venza Crossover
Polish_Kris replied to bowtie_dude's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Change the weird front lights, and you got a Murano competitor. Pretty suprised Toyota designed a decent looking vehicle.

Volkswagen @ NAIAS - Passat CC
How is it a dud? Don't you have any taste in cars, besides dissing anything that doesn't have a Ford emblem on it?

Detroit Hyundai Genesis
http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/08/detroit...akes-things-up/ Yes, I know it's a knock-off, but it aint Chinese, and Hyundai cars are matching the Japanese in terms of quality and reliability (so I heard), but something about this car is not bad, maybe because there is no Hyundai badge! Lol I think it's the biggest bang for the buck still. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyundai_Genesis

1980s Toyota Commercials
LoL... "...Ohhhhh, what a felling, Toyota!" FRONT WHEEL DRIVE, 16 Valve FUEL-INJECTED! I like how little things like that we take for granted on today's cars were made into a big deal. I guess those cars were ahead compared to the competition at the time.

Toyota Employee Worked to Death
I worked as a UPS driver for over a year, and I was "worked to death" too by nazi-type supervisors, well at least there was this one, and Ted know who I'm talking about. AND, we were unionized. It could be a political move in order to get Toyota plants unionized. But don't think that unions are going to help, if anything managment could treat you more like crap than in a non-union environment.

Subpar Compact
Dsuupr... You work for UPS?

LAIAS: 2008 Toyota Sequoia
I'm assuming you're using no flash, I admire how stable the pictures turn out. On my Canon, if you use no flash, then you must hold it really still, otherwise, it turns out blurry

2009 TOYOTA MATRIX FIRST DRIVE
No GM can design a better Toyota, and Toyota can build a better Pontiac.

Autoweek magazine likes the ASTRA
What I want to know is, why did it take GM so long to bring over Opel to North America? This car is already four years old, which is nothing wrong with that? Why we got the Cobalt besides this is beyond me. However, I can't wait to test-drive this car.

LAIAS: 2008 Toyota Sequoia
Yeah, it does look a little bloated in real life, but hey... it's better than the new Land crusher. You have a really good camera Btw. What kind is it?
