They can call a sedan that reaches 60 in 4.8 seconds whatever the hell they want.
  5. I hope Saturn's limited dealer-network doesn't affect the Aura's success too much. I don't even know where the closest Saturn dealership is to me.
  6. Old news. Remember this picture? Link
  7. Wow. It's become a rarity for Mercedes to restrain itself from entering new, unnecessary segments in our market. Finally, a good call on behalf of MB.
  8. Who are you?
  9. This is a no-brainer. The fuel-efficient sub-compact market is booming, and the Corsa is infinitely more appealing than a Yaris or Fit.
  10. Bentley Flying Spur on the Bronx River Parkway late last week.
  11. I'd like to insert an animated clip into my avatar, or preferrably, my signature. Variance often sports such clips in his avatar, and I've noticed others use them in their sigs as well. For example, Captainbooyah currently has an animated Simpsons clip under each of his posts: How can I create something similar using a particular video clip? TIA, any help is greatly appreciated. - Bimmer
  12. LS430s are rear-drive. It's the FRONT-WHEEL-DRIVE Fusion in your signature that wouldn't make it in. :AH-HA_wink:
  13. Aggressive. It'd be infinitely more-appealing without those terribly tasteless wheels. Oh well.

No matter how seductive the styling, no matter how compelling the dynamics, we know that somewhere squads of designers and engineers are toiling to make a good thing even better. Consider the BMW 335i sedan. When the fifth generation 3-series sedan made its debut in early 2005, it was hard to see just where a significant improvement might be made in this outstanding car. Then the 335i coupe came along, and suddenly the plan became clear. Right: they’ll make that 3.0-liter turbo engine available in the sedan. And here it is. [READ MORE...]

  16. We have a solid two months or so before snow becomes an issue around here.
  17. And another thread goes down the drain.
  18. The Mercury Cougar wasn't the car to derive a design direction from. End of story.
  19. Yes. The fourth-generation Supra's 2JZ-GTE engine is related to the 2JZ-GE (IS300, prev. GS300). The most significant difference being the Supra's twin-turbochargers.
  20. The previous-generation GS300 used an inline-six related to the 2JZ that debuted in the original SC300. We owned an IS300 with that same inline-six. It's completely unrelated to the 245-horsepower V-6 that powers the current GS300.
  21. I don't view washing my car as a chore. It's actually something I look forward to doing.
  22. +1. My car's never seen the inside of a car wash and never will.
  23. I hate this almost as much as I hated the Blackhawk.
  24. It's a shame the Civic sedan doesn't share it's rear with the coupe.
  25. I saw one on a car carrier a week ago.
