Not bad, but tacky for Pontiac to have such a vehicle. I know Canada laws make GM do weird things, but that's just not good for Pontiacs long term image.

Are the outside gaps as bad as the inside? They seem wide on the pictures.

I love that interior

I went to downtown Portland last night to "hang out" when we ran across a photo shoot for the Saturn Outlook. We got there early enough that the guy let us look in it. My take; Much nicer in person than in pictures on the outside. The logo on the front is HUGE! The interior could be described as taking the Tahoe to the next step. Other people on the street, locals, described the interior as being Mercedes Benz in quality and craftsmanship. From the pictures I think it will be a hit. I was told guy who takes pictures for Saturn is an Oregon fan. They travelled all over Oregon to take the pictures. I guess the Sky had its pictures taken in Hawaii. I'll post pictures later.

toyota shows 2 models that seem perfect repalcements to the xa & xb models in Japan. sienta & ractis Honestly I find them to be better looking vehicles, and the sienta with the capacity of being a 7 passenger might find an even more loyal following of old people than the xb.

Though I'm glad to see them gone, I'm scared to think of how much uglier the replacements will be.

Been there, done that. Even drove in it. Funny thing, that's one of the more mellow areas. Many parts of Dehli are much worst. When I drove to the Taj Mahal we drove foot the floor and hand on the horn. We passed 2 cops on the way and they never even stopped eating their sugar canes to notice us.

That would make an awesome Cobalt replacement. And who says with the changes going on that GM won't do a 3-door hatch here.

A little over a year and 36,000 miles ago my brother and his wife decided to buy a prius. I thought I would give my impression on the vehicle this last weekend. 1st I want to start off that they traded in their 120,000 mile 1998 Oldsmobile Silhouette. During it's 120,000 miles they did have to replace the battery (90,000 miles), tires (60,000 miles), and at 115,000 miles they were having troubles with the alternator, hence why they decided to trade it in. The only other fix the van EVER had was the lumbar support piece being broken off when new. Now on to the prius. He did comment on how they are loving the space of the vehicle. They were able to load up all 3 kids, camping gear, and a weeks worth of supplies on their recent trip to California. The car doesn't have much power, but they were able to keep up with traffic in the moutains with a full load and a heavy foot. They are averaging 45 to 48 mpg with mostly highway driving, only 3 to 6 mpg better than our Cobalt. Now about that so called toyota quality. My Brother is very careful not to tell me of too many issues they have had because he doesn't want me to make fun of him for buying a toyota. I know the car has been towed in atleast once, but was never told why. The easy and expected from toyota, 2 recalls so far. When checking out the NHTSA website, I'm guessing this is just the beginning of the recalls they should be expecting. The front plastic of the dash is coming apart. By that I mean the outer cover is peeling off varius areas. Funny how that "high" quality look comes apart quickly. There are various plastic pieces snapped out of place on the car and the car needs tires. Wow do this car have rattles. It almost feels like parts are going to come off because of this. The short and skinny on it all. The car is falling apart at the seams. Funny how consumer reports shows a completely different type of product than our families have experienced.

Not true with the Black Tie radios. You are thinking of the Malibu & G6 stereos of which are no longer going to be used after 2007.

I just saw my first Aura in person today, and I hate to say it, but the interior, especially the back of the front seats, needs some work. It's better than the Malibu & G6, but it still needs more love.

Will they do another "Classic" with the current Malibu. It worked well for the old one.

In all the complaining about GM have cheap interiors, I decided to check out hondas. We all wonder why they never complain about the civics digital speedo, when GM was blasted for using digital dashes. But did you know their stock stereo is 2 different colors and one of the colors doesn't even match the interior at any point? Compare that too a black tie stereo in the Cobalt. On the other hand, atleast you can replace the stereo in the civic unlike the accord.

WOW, that's a lot of power for those SUVs. I wonder if how much that also changes the Saturn Aura ratings.

Maybe that could be toyota's new advertising campaign.

With the Denali series (not that I'm for a Denali Minivan), and GMCs current trend to go upscale, I could see a minivan working for them. I also agree that it would fit Buick better to have an upscale minivan to compete with the Town & Country.

It will be interesting to see toyota take a dive due to the push to get the camrys out.
