Saturn slips into Opel's orbit
The question is how fast will the Ion be replaced. It couldn't be fast enough.

New Enclave Pictures
I hope they don't change much. That is a beautiful vehicle.

Your Most Favorite Car from Olds....
1. The 1st Oldsmobile (Curved Dash) True innovation and beating Ford to the punch without the fanfare 2. The last (Alero) A car that was never given proper credit. Outstanding handling, top notch quality rankings and just down right fun. 3. The Aurora If you've driven you know why. If not, you'll never know.

Opel, Saturn could share flagship...
Ugh what's the delay with Ion. They need to dump it much quicker than that.

......
So with GM releasing the 2007 GM minivan info so early does this mean they plan on replacing them this year. Please, please tell me they are.

If we are luck this is the new LaCrosse
Having dug around the Buick of China website it dawned on me. They have a beautiful LaCrosse that has way more class than ours does. Could it be the next LaCrosse? Luxury LaCrosse?

Chinese Buick Lacrosse
Buick has done a great job with their Chinese products. They all look more upscale than their competition. And the Royaum. Hmmm.

Study: Product Woes Hobble GM
It makes sense that GM would not spend as much on each product as the basics are shared with so many other cars reducing the overall cost of coming out with something new.

C&D Tests the Yukon Denali
C&D and the others have actually been pretty nice to GM trucks, just not cars.

3.9L Standard in '07 CSVs
So if GM is introducing the 2007s early does that mean this is their last year? If I remember correctly, when they first came out we where told they where a stop gap and would only be out for 3 years. Here goes to a wishing and a hoping.

A bit of good sales news...
GM does have some hot products right now so it's not suprising, especially with the new SUVs hitting the market, that they'll improve this year over last. Gas prices aren't as much of a worry, GM trucks are still strong (though dated), and they seem to have hit the small car market at the right time, though analysis will tell us otherwise. Take note; the Cobalt, Solstice and HHR have been introduced right as gas prices raised. The SUVs have hit as gas prices have stabilized.

Last Gen Cutlass Supreme
I think the quality problems in the early years of the W-bodies turned people off to them as they aged. It doesn't help that Oldsmobile got some of the ugliest cars in GMs lineup in the early and mid 90's then got neglected until 1996/1997 when the Aurora and Intrigue came out. Unfortunetly it was too little too late.

This dealer sold 1,283 Buicks in 2005
It goes to show how important salespeople are to a dealership. The West Coast Dealers need to spend more time on their salespeople and their advertising then maybe, just maybe GM could make a come back. Without the East and West Coast they'll just suffer.

Best First Car
1980s Volvo 240. Slow, super safe, and VERY durable. The only car I've every experienced to be as durable as a 240 is a Caprice, a car I would NEVER put in a teenager's hand because of the power.

Best City Car
My brother has one too, and we get only 5 mpg less than he does in our Cobalt. I'll take our Cobalt. Great gas mileage, not as rough a suspension as the civic, not as loud as the civic, and much more low end torque to take off from lights when needed. Add to that saving thousands of dollars on purchase price and . . .

07 Camry....fair review?
Might we find him loosing his job shortly for actually telling like it is?

Sales of big pickups are beginning to stall
Interesting no comment on GMs supply of trucks yet they are running the oldest ones in the market. Could 2007 be the year Chevy outsells Ford on the truck scene?

Chevrolet Continues To Offer Top Selling Suvs
Even during the 70s and early 80s people bought Suburbans. It' a name that will be with us for a long time. To cancel the line makes NO sense. toyota only dreams of selling as many of any of it's products as GM does the GMT-800 and GMT-900 family line. Heck I would venture to guess that the GMT-800/900 combo outsell toyota in the US.

Recent experience at a Cadillac dealership
WOW, I thought GM finally got rid of those type of Cadillac Dealer types. Hopefully your call and others will get them to loose the franchise. Better to drive farther than deal with that.

The most BS statement you've ever heard
ONe can say the biggest myth is our media writing about GM.

Who has some family remedies
Going from a high energy moment to the let down some times caused mine, prior to my heart surgery. Drinking caffeine made me have more, but did reduce the migraine pain when I had them. Just make sure to take the medicine as soon as the migraine starts. Loud music is the #1 cause for me, though it doesn't stop me from listening to my music in a way the will get me hearing aids when I get older. Since my open heart the have been reduced to 5 minute migraines, so I take nothing. I used to take Toporal (Dr. prescription) & I have Maxalt in my wallet at all times. From experience, if you are getting them more often and you are feeling tired see your Dr as they may be a sign of more serious heart issues.

I was so upset Sunday
Maybe you should consider one of those bright orange Suburbans.

Rich People
I don't know I love how walmart has sent our jobs overseas. They pay their employees the big money, $0.01 over minimum, and their service is also top notch when my wife has her curlers in and my mullet has just been trimed. Really though, not only are they a leach on our economy and communities, their service sucks.

Getting ahead gets harder
Or pick a career that doesn't have any reason to be shipped off shore. It's impossible for them to have Landlords live in China. Networking is VERY important. It can change your wage by thousands. I went up by $12,000 a year from June of last year to this year because of who I knew as much as what I knew.
