It looks like this will be the first of the Buicks to beat lexus. Add in Buicks high quality rankings and GM has itself a winner. Take note naysayers of Lutz; This is one of his beginning to end cars and it's turning out to be a hit.
  2. Now if they introduced a small sedan and coupe on the same platform, they would have the same great issue. PLEASE GM, PAY ATTENTION - Gas prices are high, people are looking at smaller cars. Give us a high performance rear wheel drive sedan, coupe and wagon like BMW for Pontiac.
  3. Glad to see GM getting into Special Editions rather than rebates.
  4. I couldn't imagine GM sending out one of their most important products that way.
  5. A big part that killed GM, and Oldsmobile directly, was the horrible quality of the W-bodies more than the overall ride or design.
  6. Though I find the trucks to be a little expensive, GM must have the price right on if they are needing to increase production to keep up.
  7. That's me. We live in a town of 3000, but Portland is only 30 minutes away.
  8. Wow, you mean honda & Track, toyota Consumer, & Foreign Trend were wrong in saying the ridgeline is the best thing since slice bread?
  9. Oh but wait, remember since it's coming from toyota it will be great, whereas GMs sucks as per honda and Track.
  10. I noticed our local Chevy Dealer just started getting some inventory this week.

The really sad part; toyota says it, people believe it GM proves it, people don't believe it

$2.29 is the lowest here. Funny, we now get excited when gas in the low $2 range. A year ago we complained about gas being above $1.90. The gas companies have a great scam going on here.
  13. I did forget to mention that I at 5'8" cannot sit in the back seat without putting my head down as I am too tall. Funny, the magazines have been quick to rip the back of the Cobalt but say nothing about the civic. My 6'00" brother can sit in the back of the Cobalt without putting his head down to fit.
  14. GM isn't even near the disasterous state they where in the early 90s. Relax and enjoy the show, as many would love to see GM fail so they will continue to rip on them all they can. GM has more than enough cash, great new products making money, and more great new products on the way to prevent the need for bankruptcy.
  15. I just test drove a GTP Coupe this weekend. WOW was it a sweet ride.
  16. Same problem here. Our local Chevy Dealer has so few vehicles that they have put used Chevrolet's in the new car area just to fill up the lot.

I got a chance to check out the Torrent this last weekend. The interior is a VAST improvement over the Equinox, but the exterior is just too close.
  18. We have 2 Chevrolet / Ford Dealers in Oregon. Though one of them doesn't put the Ford next door to the Chevrolet. Kendall (HORRIBLE GROUP) in Eugene, OR has Cadillac / Chevrolet / acura / honda. Sad part, acura and honda get their own "entrance" including service, yet Chevrolet and Cadillac share both service and entrance. And this is a for a building that is less than 2 years old. I think GM should pull their Chevrolet and Cadillac franchise for that.
  19. Eitherway I do like the yellow on the G6, though I would never buy one that way.
  20. I'm not one for the strip scene, though i do like the rest.

Beautiful color. I wonder if GM would make that an option in the future.
  22. Try the back of a civic. Even I had to move my head down to fit and I'm only 5'8".
  23. On the arm stretched when sitting thing, that's the idea of a big American car. The car is made for people that are wider than tall.
  24. I got my first chance to check out the civic coupe yesterday. First I want to state that no one in the dealer offered to help me. My wife and I make enough to buy ANY and I mean ANY honda on the lot, but the dumb _ss wouldn't even offer info on the cheapest crap they have. Ok, now onto the car. 1st, the interior is cheap to me. The center console easily moves around, the plastic on the pockets is thin, there is no way to replace stereo with an aftermarket version, the fabrics felt thin (just like the last version), and the shifter was notchy (go figure the magazines tell us it's perfect). The exterior isn't so bad, though I'm still not a fan of the front end. Overall the car just seems as cheap as the last version.
  25. Still makes me scratch my head on how JD Power and cr and be so off of one another.
