So is there any power upgrade?..or maybe there are testing new engine?

i don't think that the next v8 (probably ultra) will have over 400 hp in N.A. form. If we are talking same displacement , 4.6 l. it will probably have somewhere between 360-380 hp. But if GM go higher in displacement, which is possibility that v8 will have more displacement levels, than there is a chance to see engine with over 400 hp N.A..and with F.I. who knows? 550-600 hp. We will see ...probably in 2009

maybe there is new ls3 in that car...

o.k..if it does 0-60 in 2.5 or 3 s..it really doesn't matter...at least not to me ..it will be very fast car for "low" price...what matter is how it will handle on road, quality of material etc. Does anyone knows if ls3 will have 3 valve head and if yes is the answer will it be with two cam in block or just one?

any hints on what type of engine maybe ..say 6.xxx l with FI

i'm not sure that cadillac need bmw-1 rival...bmw-1 isn't such a good seller here in europe (at least not in my country)..they should make a good 3, c-class, competitor (i presume that new cts will be 5 series competitor) with decent engines and it doesn't have to be rwd but it should have awd in option.

does anybody know weight of northstar engine with superharger?.. i'm afraid that if GM put DOHC V8 engine in cts-v , car will not be able to keep up with M3,S4, amg in performace.

I think cadillac needs new DOHC v8 engine for sts, which can be upgraded to about 5-5.2 l, DI, and which can be turbocharged (or supercharged ) for v series with 520+ hp. I'm not sure if northstar can fit in new cts but new ls3 or ls9 engine wouldn't be so bad .. it's probably lighter and more compact than northstar.

Was there any talk of new engines maybe v8 or v6 with DI..or maybe new diesel engine. So how does new CTS look in person..Is there any chance that new malibu is going to be sold in Europe?

if it's a clay model doesn't that means that working model of that car hasn't been built yet? why would thay show them clay model if they could show them real working model?. just my 2 cents

i know that northstar isn't small engine (like ls 7) but i don't think that ultra v8 will be much smaller (it's v8 probably with bigger displacement but i don't know if it is going to be 90° or 60° between banks) so they could put northstar until ultra comes

i thougth that future sts will grow and take place instead of dts (ofcourse with rwd and awd )...so it would be something like BLS (vs bmw 3) CTS (vs bmw 5) and sts against bmw 7 lexus and s class. and later maybe uls?

what engines will buick enclave have? V8 (ultra, northstar) new v6 with DI?

northstar in v-series coupe?....what about ls7? does this mean that cts-v is getting northstar too...please say no ...i hope not..i want to see ls7 engine in v series cts and coupe too...too bad it will never come in Europe...i mean V model..especially not where i live ...
