  1. I love Pontiac. I don't like the current Pontiac lineup. To me the trouble with GM in general is that it seemed to be hijacked by MBAs and accountants. That always produced mediocrity. No passion. Cars as products. When one follows ones passion, dollars will follow. When Pontiac has a passionate car guy leading it again, they will make money. I think he's right, Lutz doesn't get Pontiac. And the whole 'BMW on a budget' thing just makes me cranky. Just be Pontiac again. The past is so bright you gotta wear shades...

  5. The Family Stone Not strictly a Christmas movie, has it more as a backdrop, but enjoyable nonetheless. http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/the_family_stone/
  6. Love those little coincidences. It's a big favorite of mine. We all can relate to this family at Christmas. I still chuckle over the father and that freakin lamp. Frageelay(fragile), it must be from Italy. Ha ha.
  7. Love that movie!
  8. One that has become a favorite over the years and has such universal appeal is: 'A Christmas Story'
  9. Thanks for the thumbs up on this one....have never seen it...I'll try to get it.
  10. Christmas is coming soon. I'm looking for any new ideas for Christmas DVDs. Any favorites or reviews of not so good ones?

  12. Trust me, in my perfect world, I would have all GM brands intact, including Oldsmobile. I'm a huge GM fan both past and present. In such serious economic times, I'd rather have a drastically pared down GM, then it not exist. It's just reality. If GM gets this government assistance, it will eventually cease to exist.

  14. First, I'm not in favor of baleouts by the government. It will just prolong the end. To me, if a company like GM who claims to be in such serious trouble, this doesn't seem like the right plan for the times. Amazed they would keep GMC when they have Chevrolet trucks. Pontiac simply is not needed.

  16. Oh man, the occasional car almost gives me wood...this one does. The airy cabin and roofline, the color, that freakin gorgeious windshield... the shoulders over the wheels, that prow at the front... the solid stance from front to rear....I could go on and on. When I need reminding why I love GM, cars like this do it.
  17. '71 Pontiac Grand Prix: Absolutely a beautiful car.
