2007 Saturn Sky
We car enthusiasts know Saturn has a bright future, at least on paper so far. Nothing at the dearlerships yet. But the public doesn't know that yet....I wonder if the Sky will have the impact that the Solstice has had. Saturn has a murky, muddled and low profile image. I mentioned the new Sky to a friend and he thought Saturn no longer existed. The Sky, while stunning, may not be enough to sway them at first, until Saturn remodels it's image as well.

2006 Honda
I think Quebec customers buy a lot of compacts. As you move further to the rich west, preferences go more for cars and trucks that are bigger and more upscale.

LeSabre or LaCrosse
I agree Cananopie, those colors you like, look very good on this car. The gold gets lost a bit. If they decide on the LaCrosse, they will be happy with their decision. It's a good car.

Buick Royaum
That interior looks good. I would prefer Buick builds an all American Buick, but if all else failed, this is a very nice car and not completely un-Buick.

Cars you may never see again
It must be the various areas we live in. I see Buick Reattas often. And I also see AMC cars now and then. They are still around. I never see Hupmobiles ever. One car that one saw alot of on the street when they were producing them is the Ford Contour...I almost never see this car anymore. What happens to these cars, do they die early and end up in junk yards?

What is keeping GM behind?
I have owned several GM cars, too many to count and Japanese....and the GM cars haven't been any where near shoddy...they all performed excellent...perfectly reliable, very good interiors. The heavy handed criticism of GM has gotten old. Much overstatement by the press and critics in general.

What GM shoulda built instead of.....
I still contend that the XUV had odd proportions and overpriced...not a good combination. It simply was a goofy looking truck.

2006 Honda Accord
It would be interesting to know what make had the first rear spoiler on a production car.

2006 Honda Accord
definitely spoilers are the fins of our times....but man they just dont go away....I think they will always be with us.

2006 Honda
Exactly the same! But when GM does it, oh, the outrage, the scandal.....when other's do it, hardly a mention of it.

What is keeping GM behind?
The American car has lost so much of it's uniqueness already. I don't want American clones of German and Japanese cars. I don't want to drive a Chevy Impala Accord.

What is keeping GM behind?
Oldsmoboi, I have to agree with you. I hate what is happening to cars, they are becoming homogenized. There are so few unique characteristics anymore. I don't want to drive a car that is perfect. Everyone seems to want purely refined cars, or white bread if you will.

Car Spotting
Blu, I forgot about vinyl seats. They used to be so common in cars. That Electra sounds so nice.

RKM, here is a front of the bottom, open roof Nomad in your pictures:

Buick Royaum
Here is the Daewoo Statesman:

Buick Royaum
Ok...I forgot about that, yes you are right rkm. This is a really nice car, I have to admit. I have seen other versions of this car as well. I'll get some photos of those.

Cars you may never see again
Balthazar, yes the Pinto!...I had forgot about that car because I never see it anymore and the Ford Maverick too...nowhere to be seen. And remember Mercury had a version of the Pinto, called the Bobcat. Well, you never see that one. Ford Maverick, actually not a bad looking car:

Russian Cars
Trust me these Ladas are light years ahead of what came before. The Lada was downright frightening.

2006 Honda Accord
I think the new rear is an improvement, but man, those wedgy tailights are like an epidemic, they are everywhere! It's like the fins of our times. One day, they wil recall, "remember that wacky era of the wedgy?"

Crate Motors
Have you seen this site?.....there is a thread in the Pontiac forum as well. http://www.mallettcars.com/solstice-conversion.htm

2006 Chevy S-10
Cremazie, totally agree. Have it as an entry level, basic Chevy. (and by the way, Edmonton is a very nice city...like it alot)

Corvairs remembered
The Sostice coupe really has the spirit of this Corvair concept. Rkm...lol, sorry for disappointing you. Here's a great picture of this car:

Heres a cool one
I am wondering how many of these did Pontiac make?

GM
Exactly....my thoughts as well.
